Austin Butler Cast As The New ‘American Psycho’ In Remake From Lionsgate and Luca Guadagnino

Variety is reporting that Austin Butler will take on the role Christian Bale made famous in American Psycho. He will star as Patrick Bateman in the upcoming film, which is said to be a new interpretation of Bret Easton Ellis’ novel of the same name.

Luca Guadagnino will direct the new adaptation, while Scott Z. Burns will serve as the project’s writer. All other details remain under wraps.
