Deadline reports that Disney is officially working on a live-action adaptation of the 2010 animated feature Tangled. The report also suggests that Disney have already been in negotiations with a potential director. Michael Gracey, who directed the upcoming Robbie Williams biopic Better Man (which I got to see last night at the premiere), is in talks to direct the live-action film.
Tangled is loosely based on the iconic tale of Rapunzel, a princess with magical blonde hair, as she escapes her tower with the help of the outlaw Flynn Rider.
