The Hollywood Handle has released the first photos from Karate Kid: Legends. Karate Kid: Legends is a new Karate Kid movie coming in May 2025. In the photos we see the return of Ralph Macchio who reprises his role as Daniel LaRusso, while Jackie Chan is returning to play Mr. Han. Ben Wang, meanwhile, has been tapped to play the main protagonist, Li Fong.
“When a new friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition — but his skills alone aren’t enough,” the synopsis reads. “Li’s kung fu teacher Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) enlists original Karate Kid Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) for help, and Li learns a new way to fight, merging their two styles into one for the ultimate martial arts showdown.”
Director Jonathan Entwistle confirmed that Karate Kid: Legends will be set after the events of Cobra Kai.
