Deadline reports that a Grimm reboot is officially in the works at Peacock. The series will hail from the creator of the original NBC drama. The new series will have a lot of familiar faces around it, as Deadline is reporting that the original series’ creative team, co-creators, executive producers, and showrunners David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf are attached as executive producers. The new series will be written by Josh Berman, who is the creator of the series Drop Dead Diva.
The original series was a hit for NBC, and ran from 2011-17. It followed a Portland homicide detective Nicholas Burkhardt, who discovered he is a Grimm, a guardian who protects both humans and mythological creatures.
