Evil Mary Poppins and the Mad Hatter will both be a part of Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble. This film will be directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, and be a crossover movie set in the same world as Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey and Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. Producer Scott Chambers stated in an interview how Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, and the Mad Hatter will serve as the three main antagonists of the film.
“I’ve not really spoken much about this yet, but Mary Poppins will be in it, and she’s going to be a kiddy snatcher as well,” Chambers said. “So I’m sure her and Peter Pan are going to get on like a house on fire. And then there’s also the Mad Hatter. I think those three are going to be the worst of the worst. We’ve introduced Peter and later down the line we will introduce the other two in their own films.”
Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble is expected to arrive in 2025. Other films in Chambers upcoming catalogue include Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, which arrives on January 13, 2025, and Bambi: The Reckoning and Pinocchio: Unstrung will release sometime in 2025.
