‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Sequel Series With Sarah Michelle Gellar In Development At Hulu

Variety reports that a Buffy the Vampire Slayer sequel series is close to receiving a pilot order at Hulu. The series was based on the 1992 film and starred Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers, Nicholas Brendon as Xander Harris, and Alyson Hannigan as Willow Rosenberg.

Nora Zuckerman and Lila Zuckerman are both attached to write, executive produce, and showrun the new show. Chloé Zhao is also attached to direct and executive produce. Gellar, Gail Berman, Fran Kuzui, Kaz Kuzi, and Dolly Parton will also be executive producers.
