Marisa Tomei and Virginia Gardner have signed on to lead the upcoming romantic comedy movie titled, F*ck Valentine’s Day. Tomei and Gardner are set to portray a mother-and-daughter duo, who will go on a birthday getaway in Greece.
“The film follows Gina, born on the most celebrated day of love, Valentine’s Day, which she detests immensely. She is determined to stop her boyfriend from popping the question on a birthday getaway in Greece, home of her vivacious mother,” reads the official synopsis. “Enlisting fellow vacationers, the handsome Johnny Giovinazzo and his brassy sister Mickey, Gina hopes to delay the proposal, leading Gina to discover that she just might be with the wrong guy.”
