The track was mixed and mastered by Mixcave Mastering.

Piper welcome to OLC! We’ve followed you for a while now, so tell us about, “warning” a song that captures the thrill of falling for the wrong person—what inspired you to write this song?
At the time, I was in this phase where I knew better—but I definitely wasn’t doing better. I was completely lost in someone, even though every part of me was screaming, “This is a terrible idea!” I wanted warning to feel like that adrenaline rush—the chaos, the thrill, the way your heart races even when your brain is basically setting off fire alarms.
More than anything, warning is about that wild, all-consuming kind of love—the kind that pulls you in so fast you don’t even stop to think about the crash. I hope when people hear it, they feel that spark of being so alive that it’s almost too much.
Your sound blends pop-punk with influences from ska, grunge, and R&B. How did you develop such a unique style?
I’ve always been drawn to high-energy, emotional music—whether it’s the attitude of pop-punk, the grit of grunge, the groove of R&B, or the bounce of ska. I grew up loving artists who weren’t afraid to be loud, raw, and real, so I think my sound naturally pulls from all those influences. at the end of the day, I just want my music to feel like something—whether it’s rebellious, heartbroken, or just pure chaos.
You’ve been described as having a “caffeine-laced Pop Rocks” energy—how do you bring that to your live performances?
Honestly, I just feel everything at, like, 200%. when I’m on stage, it’s like flipping a switch—every lyric, every beat, I’m living it in real-time. I want the crowd to feel that energy like we’re all in this chaotic, electric moment together. Plus, I grew up watching performers who command the stage, so standing still was never an option for me.
You started in child acting before shifting to music. How has that background influenced your stage presence?
Acting taught me how to tell a story—not just with my voice but my whole presence. On stage, it’s not just about hitting the notes; it’s about making people feel connected to a moment. Whether it’s a full-on rock moment or a stripped-down ballad, I want every performance to feel like its own little movie. Plus, being in front of a camera from a young age definitely helped with confidence—I learned pretty fast that hesitation gets you nowhere.

Many young artists struggle to find their authentic voice. How do you stay true to yourself in your music?
For me, it’s about never forcing something that doesn’t feel real. If I wouldn’t say it in real life, I’m not putting it in a song. I think people connect with honesty, even when it’s messy or uncomfortable, so I try to lean into that. Plus, I remind myself that evolving doesn’t mean losing who you are—it just means getting closer to it.
What’s your creative process like? Do you start with lyrics, a melody, or a certain emotion?
It’s different every time, but usually, it starts with an emotion, or a story. sometimes it’s a lyric that just hits, sometimes it’s a melody I can’t get out of my head, but it always comes back to capturing a moment that feels real. I love building a song like a puzzle—figuring out the right words, the right energy, until it just clicks.
Who are your biggest musical inspirations, and how have they shaped your sound?
I’ve always been drawn to artists who bring BIG energy and emotion—people like Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Taylor Hawkins, Luke Spiller- but also acts with raw grit like Alanis Morissette and even some classic R&B influences, like Aretha Franklin. I love the way they own their sound, their attitude, and their storytelling. That’s what I try to bring into my own music—something bold, honest, and a little chaotic in a good way.
Your songs connect deeply with teenage audiences. What messages do you hope your fans take away from your music?
I really want my fans to feel seen. being a teenager is messy and intense—you’re figuring out who you are, you’re making mistakes, people don’t quite take you seriously yet, you’re feeling everything all the time, all at once. My music is for anyone who’s ever felt like they don’t quite fit, or like they’re too much. If my songs can make someone feel understood, or even just give them something to scream along to, then I’ve done my job.
If you could collaborate with any artist—past or present—who would it be and why?
Oh man, if I could collaborate with anyone, it’d be Freddie Mercury. his stage presence, his voice, the way he could pour everything into a performance—that’s the kind of energy I want to bring. As for someone more contemporary, Alanis Morissette would be incredible. Her songwriting is so raw and unapologetic, and I love how she mixes vulnerability with strength. I think we’d create something pretty powerful together.
The early 2000s pop-punk revival is in full swing. How do you see yourself contributing to this movement?
I’m all in on the pop-punk revival—I grew up with it, so it feels like coming home. I think my contribution is about keeping that raw, rebellious spirit alive, but with my own twist. For me, it’s about staying true to the rebellious, high-energy vibe but adding something new. I want to keep pushing the boundaries and make sure it feels like now, while still giving a nod to the roots of that movement.
With “warning” about to drop, what’s next for you? Can fans expect an EP, an album, or more singles soon?
I’m so pumped for warning to drop—it’s just the beginning! After that, fans can definitely expect more singles coming their way, but I’m also working on some bigger projects. My team and I are considering an EP, maaaaaybe a West Coast tour. I just want to keep releasing & playing music that feels real and keeps the momentum going. stay tuned!
