Max has officially started developing a Crazy Rich Asians TV series based on the hit book series of the same name. The Crazy Rich Asians show will feature the return of the movie’s director, Jon M. Chu, and screenwriter Adele Lim, who are both serving as executive producers. Further details about its plot and characters are still under wraps.
The first film was a huge success, with a worldwide gross of over $230 million, making it the highest-grossing romantic comedy film of the 2010s.
