Madison Elise Rogers was born and raised in La Grange, Tennessee where she began her career as an actress. Initially enrolling in acting classes to help break her out of her painfully shy shell, Rogers found an unexpected passion for the craft that led her to her budding career. Her family moved within the Southern region of the US, creating a true, Southern Belle after living in both Memphis and Mississippi. The young actress decided to make the leap to Los Angeles when she was 19, where she landed her first role.

Rogers has been seen in both film and television series to date, including her roles in Mr. FishFluorescent, Kingmakers and It’s Cool. Next up, she will reprise her role as ‘Lindy’ opposite Timothy Dalton in the Paramount+ hit series 1923 and will be seen as a young Sage Calaghan in the TV comedy series Damsels (currently in post-production).

Madison, welcome to OLC! It’s such a pleasure to have you here. You captivated audiences as Lindy in Season 1 of 1923. How did you first land the role, and what was your initial reaction when you got the part?

I booked the role through a self-tape audition, and to say I was shocked would be an understatement! Finding out I’d be working with such an incredible cast felt completely surreal.

Without giving too much away, what can fans expect from Lindy this season?

I can’t say too much, but there will definitely be a big transformation in Lindy this season!

You get to work alongside legendary actors like Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford, and Timothy Dalton. What has been the most valuable lesson you’ve learned from them on set?

Being a part of a cast like this is completely surreal! Timothy has given me so much valuable advice, but more than anything, I learned just by observing his presence and precision on set.

Taylor Sheridan is known for crafting deeply complex and gripping stories. What has it been like working within his creative world?

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of a world Taylor Sheridan has created. His writing is nothing short of masterful, and stepping into it as an actor has been a dream. Every moment on this project has been an honor.

Since 1923 is a period drama, did you do any special research or preparation to get into the mindset of someone living in that era?

Absolutely. I read everything I could find about prostitution in the 1920s and the challenges women faced during that time. I wanted to fully understand Lindy’s world and what shaped her choices.

What’s your favorite behind-the-scenes memory from filming 1923 so far?

It’s not exactly behind the scenes, but one of my favorite memories was a road trip through the Montana wilderness! The scenery was so beautiful.

You originally took acting classes to break out of your shell—at what moment did you realize acting was more than just a hobby for you?

I knew almost immediately. I was still a kid, so I didn’t even think of it as a career at first—I just knew it was something I never wanted to stop doing.

You moved to Los Angeles at 19 to pursue acting. What was the biggest challenge in that transition, and how did you push through?

The hardest part was handling rejection—it’s something every actor faces, especially early on. It was tough, but it also made me more resilient and confident in my craft.

When you’re not acting, you love to bake, cook, and paint. What’s your go-to dish or dessert when you’re in the kitchen?

I love baking cookies and experimenting with different flavors! My most recent obsession has been Earl Grey cookies—they turned out amazing.

If you could star in any genre outside of drama and westerns, what would it be, and who would be your dream co-star?

Definitely horror! I think it would be such a fun challenge. My dream co-star would be Winona Ryder.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to young actors trying to break into the industry, especially those coming from smaller towns like you?

If acting is something you truly love, don’t give up on yourself. Stay persistent, keep learning, and trust that your passion will guide you.
