Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is set to lead the upcoming Sony television show called Ghostman. Abdul-Mateen II is known for playing David Kane/Black Manta in two Aquaman films and will also make his MCU debut in Wonder Man. Variety now reports that Abdul-Mateen II and his House Eleven10 production banner have signed a multi-year first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television. The first project will be of course Ghostman, which is an adaptation of Roger Hobbs’ 2013 novel of the same name.
“The Ghostman specializes in making things disappear, but when a botched casino heist leaves millions in cash up for grabs, he has just 48 hours to clean up the mess—while staying ahead of someone who wants him dead,” the official logline reads.
