An A24 crisis PR show starring Lizzy Caplan has landed at Netflix. The untitled project, which reportedly had “multiple bidders,” will hail from A24, and showrunner Halley Feiffer who found access with American Horror Story: Delicate.
The upcoming series, inspired by Shawn McCreesh’s article in New York Magazine featuring crisis PR expert Risa Heller, has garnered attention from major streaming platforms including Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu. As reported by Deadline, the show—yet to be titled—will focus on “New York’s leading crisis public relations specialist (Caplan) as she assists prominent clients in managing their most challenging moments, all while trying to uphold her own facade of a blissfully married mother of three, free from any personal troubles.”
The project will be written by Feiffer, who will also serve as showrunner.
