Barack and Michelle Obama are currently developing a biopic about the PGA Tour winner, Tiger Woods. He’s considered one of the greatest golfers and athletes of all time. THR is now reporting that Barack and Michelle Obama’s company, Higher Ground Productions, is in talks to produce the upcoming biopic. Higher Ground Productions is known for producing movies like Rustin and Leave the World Behind.
What we know so far is that King Richard‘s Reinaldo Marcus Green is expected to direct with Amazon MGM Studios planning to help develop the film. This biopic will be based on Kevin Cook’s book ‘The Tiger Slam’, which will portray the golfer’s early victories and what he accomplished ahead of other golf rivals. It will not only delve into the athlete’s wins, but also learn about the hardships he faced.
