Trailer: Apple TV+’s Sci-fi Dark Comedy ‘Murderbot’

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for Murderbot, the new sci-fi dark comedy starring Alexander Skarsgård. The ten-episode series is scheduled to start streaming on Friday, May 16.

“The series is about a self-hacking security construct who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable clients,” reads the official logline. “Played by Skarsgård, Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe.”
