Hulu has released the first look photos of Summer of 69 its newest coming-of-age comedy which hails from Jillian Bell in her feature directorial debut. The main cast is led by Chloe Fineman as Santa Monica.
“In the film, an awkward high school senior hires an exotic dancer to help seduce her longtime crush before graduation, leading to unexpected friendship and lessons in self-confidence, acceptance, and adulthood,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
Summer of 69 is scheduled to start streaming on May 9, 2025, exclusively on Hulu. The cast also includes Charlie Day, Paula Pell, Liza Koshy, Nicole Byer, Sam Morelos, Natalie Morales, Alex Moffat, Matt Cornett, Fernando Carsa, and Amalia Yoo. The film is directed and produced by Bell from a screenplay she co-wrote with Liz Nico and Jules Byrne.
