A Clueless TV show is officially in the works. The original movie was released in 1995 and was a huge hit. it was written and directed by Amy Heckerling, and was a loose adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma. Of course Alicia Silverstone led the Paramount Pictures cult classic.
Now deadline is reporting that a Clueless TV show is now being developed at Peacock. The show will be written and executive produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, while Heckerling and Robert Lawrence will also executive produce. Silverstone will reprise her role as Cher Horowitz in the show.
