Sony Pictures Announces ‘Greyhound 2’ with Tom Hanks Set To Return

Sony Pictures has officially started developing Greyhound 2, and Tom Hanks has also signed on to reprise his role as Captain Ernie Krause. Greyhound 2 will follow “Krause and the Greyhound crew from the beaches of Normandy to the ocean in the Pacific as they help turn the tide of the war.”

Production is expected in begin in Sydney some time in 2026. Stephen Graham is also reportedly in negotiations to reprise his role. The sequel will be directed by Aaron Schneider from a screenplay written by Hanks.
