Sydney Sweeney Signs On To ‘Split Fiction’ Movie From ‘Wicked’ Director

Reports are in that Sydney Sweeney has signed on to star in the upcoming feature film adaptation of the critically acclaimed video game Split Fiction. John M. Chu will be helming the project with Deadpool movie writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick set to pen the screenplay.

Published by Electronic Arts, the game follows the mishaps of two authors, Mio Hudson and Zoe Foster, who unintentionally become trapped in the fictional worlds they created. Since its March 6, 2025 release, Split Fiction has garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and players alike.
