Focus Features has announced the release date of Honey Don’t!, the upcoming dark comedy starring Chris Evans and Aubrey Plaza. The Ethan Coen-directed film will be part of the Midnight Screenings Section of the Cannes Film Festival. Honey Don’t! is set for a theatrical release on August 22.
The official logline reads, “Honey Don’t! is a dark comedy about Honey O’Donahue, a small-town private investigator, who delves into a series of strange deaths tied to a mysterious church.”
Margaret Qualley will star as Honey O’Donahue. The Honey Don’t! cast also includes Charlie Day, Billy Eichner, Lera Abova, Jacnier, Gabby Beans, Talia Ryder, Kristen Connolly, Lena Hall, Don Swayze, Josh Pafchek, Kale Browne, Alexander Carstoiu, and Christian Antidormi.
