Director Gavin O’Connor has confirmed that he and writer Bill Dubuque have started developing the screenplay for The Accountant 3, and with that they plan on bringing back star Anna Kendrick. In a recent interview, Gavin O’Connor teased Kendrick’s potential role in The Accountant 3, revealing that the actress is open to reprise her role.
“[We] have had some preliminary conversations. I am personally running from another puzzle movie, which we’ve done twice now,” O’Connor shared. “One thing we’ve talked about is the idea of bringing Anna Kendrick back. Maybe Christian can finally get the love that he deserves.”
Ben Affleck added, “We’re hoping she still likes us.” O’Connor answered him, “Actually, Ben, she and I have been texting. She said she’s a hundred percent in if we want.”
