Sebastian Stan and Vanessa Kirby have officially signed on for the upcoming film adaptation of Ruins, based on author Amy Taylor’s new novel which will hit stores July 1. Miramax successfully acquired the rights to the project. As well as starring in the film, Stan and Kirby have also signed on to produce the movie.
“The story follows a couple whose affair with a young Greek woman over the course of a summer in Athens threatens to crack their relationship open in a story about privilege and power, desire and intimacy,” reads the official synopsis.
