Melbourne/San Francisco alt-pop artist & producer ROHAN reckons with a reckless love as it finally fizzles out on the pop-punk-infused “Fizzy” out today with its matching visualizer. On his latest break-up anthem, loud and uninhibited, the artist captures the good, the bad, the calm and the messy of a relationship meeting its dramatic end.

Blending pop-punk, alt-pop and R&B, “Fizzy” features drums by celebrated American drummer Thomas Pridgen (The Mars Volta, Lizzo, Thundercat), which came together during a late-night jam session in ROHAN’s Melbourne home studio. Reflecting on the track falling into place while working with Pridgen, the artist shares, “He landed on this drum groove that just snapped everything into place. I brought him into the studio to track the drums properly. His energy on it is wild—it brought the whole thing to life.” The track was partially engineered by Scott McDowell (Ty Segall, The Head And The Heart), mixed by Brian Cruz (Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, Giveon) and mastered by John Greenham (Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Lady Gaga).

With a nostalgic undertone, “Fizzy” brings ROHAN back to his roots. Speaking on the track’s influences, ROHAN says, “The guitars and bass really draw from my punk-pop influences; Green Day, Skegss, Beach Goons and Beach Bunny. Being away from my band in California, I wanted it to feel like I was back in rehearsal, just jamming and letting it bleed.”

Known primarily for his work as the composer behind the iconic scores for Veronica MarsHigh PotentialiZombieLethal Weapon, and more, Josh Kramon aims to expand his musical opus on the brand new atmospheric folk-rock project, KRAMON. Most recently, Josh is gearing up to receive a BMI Award on May 14th for his impeccable songwriting abilities. With the new project KRAMON, Josh expands his artistry as a writer, musician, producer, and collaborator, delivering twelve original tracks that blend smart, introspective lyrics with infectious, upbeat pop grooves. “Crush” is the first offering

A key collaborator of Alfa Mist, Tom Misch and Jas KayserJamie Leeming’s musical mastery has long since made him one of London’s most sought-after jazz guitarists. Initially gaining notoriety through his work on Alfa Mist’s string of cult-classic albums, he then stepped out solo; first in collaboration with pianist Maria Chiara Argirò on their collaborative 2020 album ‘Flow’ then in 2022 with his debut solo long player ‘Resynthesis’ (which featured Laura Groves & Quinn Oulton). Jamie now returns with the announcement of his new album Sequent’, alongside the release of a new single, ‘Shore Embrace’

On the collaboration DHANYA explains: ‘In late 2023, I reached out to the incredible vocalist and songwriter anaiis—connected through our mutual friend douniah—to explore writing a song for my upcoming EP. We traded ideas, shaping three rough demos before To Be Found emerged as the clear standout. The track began with a conversation about the EP’s title, Afraid of Winter in Summer, which Anaiis transformed into a deeply personal, poetic narrative. As the song evolved, space opened for another voice, and Azekel’s heartfelt spoken word passage tied everything together.’  Weighty spring-reverb loaded drums launch the track into action, as they become quickly engulfed in a vapour of enchanting melody, joined by the otherworldly vocals of anaiis (whose recent collaboration Grupo Cosmo gained critical acclaim and saw her playlisted on BBC 6 Music, with wider support from The Line Of Best Fit, Hypebeast & more)and a majestic string section which grabs the listener and holds them  in a vice-like grip, as Azekel (who has garnered support from the likes of Dazed, Nataal, Crack Magazine) etc.  lends his dulcet tones adding a sultry edge to the track. With a larger body of work scheduled for release later in the year, ‘To Be Found’ is a beautifully crafted composition, one that will see DHANYA build his legacy as a producer to watch out for.

Emo / pop-punk band Good Terms has today released their new single “Progress”, out now via Secret Friends Music Group. Fans can also watch the music video here. “Progress” explores the emotional challenge of perseverance when on the brink of burnout; the song was inspired in part by vocalist Brian McShea and fiancée Stephanie Raynor, who lost their home earlier this year in the California wildfires. Their story captured national attention and the outpouring of love and support reminded the couple and their extended Good Terms family of the importance of community.

In conjunction with the new release, Good Terms have teamed up with music education platform Musora to host an upcoming Walk-A-Thon Hiking Event. The event will raise funds for Notes For Notes, a nonprofit providing free access to musical instruments, instruction, and studio environments for youth. It was inspired in part by the band’s recent stop at Musora, where they filmed an “On The Spot” feature following along as they crafted their own cover of Blondie’s “Call Me.

The Walk-A-Thon is set to take place this Saturday, May 24th, and all fans, friends, and industry professionals are welcome to join the fundraising efforts in-person at Elysian Park in Los Angeles (1025 Elysian Park Dr) or virtually around the globe. Musora will be pledging a matching donation in the form of platform subscriptions, to be distributed through Notes For Notes’ system of studios nationwide.

UK pop-punk legends Neck Deep make a triumphant return with a brand new single “You Should See Me Now” via Hopeless Records.  Fueled by resilience and rebellion, the track captures everything fans love about Neck Deep — raw honesty, unrelenting drive, and the defiant spirit that has continued to fuel the band from day one.

influential Los Angeles psychedelic punk rockers Frankie and the Witch Fingers have shared “Gutter Priestess,” the last single before the release of their new album Trash Classic (June 6, 2025 // The Reverberation Appreciation Society / Greenway Records). In lieu of a music video, the band partnered with FolksPat Media to release a fully-playable “Gutter Priestess” video game – try it HERE. The creators of the free-to-play browser game have also contributed to titles like Alien: Rogue Incursion, Creed: Rise to Glory VR, Dead by Daylight, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, and more.

After announcing their new album Heavy Pulp last week, rock band The Technicolors today announce a string of album release shows in Los Angeles, their hometown of Phoenix, and New York City. Tickets for the three shows will go on sale Friday, May 23 at 10 am PST. Along with the touring news, they have released the official video for their newest single “Softcore.”

One of Heavy Pulp’s gentler moments, the official video for “Softcore” sees the band draped in the jewel tones of Oklahoma City venue Resonant Head. An isolated and moody performance, the video was directed by Jarod Evans and stars The Technicolors’ Brennan Smiley and BRONCHO’s Nathan Price who plays drums across the upcoming album. Sonically massive and brooding, Heavy Pulp will be released on August 29 via SoundOn — Watch the video for “Softcore” / Pre-save Heavy Pulp.

Known for their intricate vocal harmonies and unique instrumentation as well as their poetic lyrics, Raynes consist of Mark Race (lead vocals, electric guitar, piano), Joe Berger (backing vocals, acoustic guitar), and Mat Charley (backing vocals, keys, synths, electric guitar). Incorporating elements of folk, rock, and chamber pop with Celtic and world music to create a wholly original—and difficult to categorize—sound that has become the British-American trio’s own. Raynes are currently embarking on their own headlining tour after sharing the stages with greats such as Ringo Starr and His All-Starr BandThe Young Dubliners, and Yachtley Crew. Bloom is a collage of seven indie pop tracks, debuts on the last day of spring

Gold-certified, Choice Music Prize-nominated rock band The Riptide Movement return with their powerful new single “When The Sun Comes Up”, due for release on May 23rd. The track marks the band’s first new music of 2025 and offers an electrifying preview of their highly anticipated sixth studio album, set for release later this year.

Recorded at Orphan Recording Studios in Curracloe, Co. Wexford and co-produced by acclaimed Irish producer Gavin Glass, “When The Sun Comes Up” captures the band’s signature indie-rock energy—moody, anthemic, and emotionally resonant. Built on brooding guitar lines, a hypnotic bass groove, and surging drums, the track evolves into a euphoric crescendo that mirrors the lyrical exploration of time, memory, and change.

“We’re really excited to release our new song,” says the band. “It’s a song we’re all incredibly proud of, it has so much energy in it. We gradually increased the tempo throughout the track to build this ‘runaway train’ type feeling to mirror that sense of time slipping away. Lyrically, it’s quite nostalgic—there’s a bittersweet monologue-like quality to it that intensifies as the song unfolds.”

The single features poignant lyrics that reflect on impermanence and the fragility of human connection:
“We’ll dance the dance of the living dead, yeah the years are short but like I just said, there’s no pretending, the truth’s intense… when the drugs wear off will it still make sense when the sun comes up.”
