The official trailer for Afterburn was released online via social’s for the upcoming sci-fi action movie starring Dave Bautista, Samuel L. Jackson, and Olga Kurylenko. Afterburn is directed by J.J. Perry from a screenplay written by Nimród Antal and Matt Johnson, based on the Red 5 Comics series by Scott Chitwood, Paul Ens, and Wayne Nichols.
“Set ten years after a solar flare wiped out technology across the globe, the film follows the story of ex-soldier Jake, who works as a treasure hunter recovering valuable objects from the old world for powerful clients. His latest mission: team up with freedom fighter Drea to recover the Mona Lisa before an unhinged warlord gets there first,” reads the synopsis.
