A Donkey Kong movie seems to be in the works at Universal Pictures. According to a social media account an official copyright document from Nintendo and Universal Pictures has now been filed regarding an “untitled Donkey Kong project.” In the paperwork it states that it will be a “motion picture”.
Seth Rogen voiced Donkey Kong in the animated Super Mario Bros. Movie, while Fred Armisen voiced Cranky Kong. No word has been given on casting or on synopsis.
