During San Diego Comic-Con, Prime Video unveiled the highly anticipated official trailer for the upcoming second season of Gen V.
The trailer showcases Chace Crawford reprising his role as The Deep, making a special guest appearance in Season 2. Fans also get glimpses of unexpected cameos from characters within The Boys universe. Additionally, the trailer confirms Ethan Slater’s casting as Thomas Godolkin, a character introduced in the new season. The first trio of episodes is set to debut exclusively on Prime Video starting September 17.
According to the official description, “Season Two brings students back to Godolkin University amidst a changing world. While America grapples with Homelander’s authoritarian rule, the university’s new Dean introduces a radical curriculum designed to empower students beyond their limits. Heroes Cate and Sam are now celebrated figures, whereas Marie, Jordan, and Emma return to campus with heavy hearts, scarred by recent trauma. Amidst escalating tensions between humans and superpowered individuals both on and off campus, the students uncover a hidden program rooted in the university’s origins—one that could have far-reaching consequences, with Marie somehow entangled in its secrets.”
