INsiders Guide: ROHAN, Zach Riley, ALEJANDRO SANZ, Blush, GYAKIE…

Melbourne/San Francisco alt-pop artist & producer ROHAN basks in unconditional love on “Precious” out today with a vibrant, Bay Area-set visualizer. Breezy and tender, the feel good tune captures unconditional love outside of romance–from pets, to family, to best friends.

Light ukulele strums mix with electric guitar textures and stirring synths to evoke a magical yet grounded, serene sense of calm. ROHAN shares, “I wrote it about my dog, Kosta, but it’s really about unconditional love in its purest form. The kind that doesn’t ask for much back but still changes you. I sing: ‘You are my precious, not quite my kind, but I have found a way for words to make sense to you.’

ROHAN continues, “That line sums it up — how love can exist even when you’re wired completely differently from someone. Whether you’re a partner, a parent, a sibling, or a pet owner, that feeling of giving your whole heart without needing to explain yourself — that’s what this song is chasing.”

Produced by himself, the artist and producer was influenced by Billie Eilish’s production style, with her keen ability to blur softness with unease. On the production, ROHAN says,I wanted that tension: warmth wrapped in something just a little bit unsteady. It’s the kind of love that makes you feel seen and safe — but also kind of vulnerable.”

Hailing from Winnipeg, Canada, Zach began his musical endeavours in 2010 when he got his first drum kit for Christmas. Learning songs just by ear, Zach began uploading drum covers to YouTube and never looked back. It wasn’t until 2018 when Zach finally joined his first band and hit the road for a 4 month Eastern Canadian tour. But after spending 14 years behind the drums and backing up other people’s bands, it finally felt like it was time to step out from behind the kit.

Combining styles from both his drumming and singing/songwriting influences, “genre hopping” has allowed Zach to blend sounds and ideas from all kinds of artists. Artists such as The Band Camino, The 1975, Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots, Neck Deep, and too many more to name, Zach has formed a unique blend of Pop, Rock, Indie, Punk, and Singer-Songwriter that generates no 2 songs that sound the same.

With catchy melodies and emotional lyrics, Zach’s songs will have you both emotional and wanting to dance at the same time until the very last beat.

Four-time GRAMMY® winner and Latin music icon Alejandro Sanz debuts the official music video for “Cómo Sería”, a striking new visual with Colombian star Manuel Turizo, pulled from Sanz’s critically acclaimed new album ¿Y Ahora Qué?

Directed by Joaquín Cambre, the video tells the story of two men who find themselves in a surreal prison setting—both drawn to the same woman. Alejandro and Manuel play characters caught in a rivalry, confined not only by physical walls but by the emotional tension of wanting someone they can’t have. The visual explores themes of obsession, frustration, and the rules broken in pursuit of desire.

With both men in love with the same woman. Tension builds as they defy boundaries and expectations, breaking all the rules without ever being caught. The prison becomes a metaphor for emotional restriction — a place where desire and frustration collide.

“Cómo Sería” is a soulful, genre-bending ballad that captures the ache of a love that never quite had its moment. With two of the most distinct voices in Spanish-language music, Sanz and Turizo craft a poetic conversation — vulnerable, powerful, and real. Sanz is currently preparing for his Mexico tour that kicks off September 3 and already counts with 10 sold out dates.

“Cómo Sería” marks the first-ever collaboration between Sanz and Turizo and its video is the latest visual from Sanz’s album ¿Y Ahora Qué?. This video follows the success of “El Vino de Tu Boca”, which has surpassed 23 million streams across platforms and inspired over 160,000 TikTok creations to date.

GIVĒON’s return to the spotlight has featured his fourth Hot 100 chart hit, and widespread critical acclaim, including ‘4-stars’ from Rolling Stone. It now includes the release of the seven-time GRAMMY®-nominee’s second studio album, BELOVED, executive-produced by Sevn Thomas

GIVĒON’s award-winning and globally regarded R&B prowess has made its grand and official return today with the release of the singer’s sophomore album, BELOVED, available now via Epic Records. The album, led by “Twenties” and “Rather Be,” is a 14-track opus featuring a stable of producers that includes Jahaan Sweet and Sevn Thomas; the latter executive-produced the album.

BELOVED, the new album from GIVĒON, is now playing.

Rising singer and songwriter Ana Luna returns with her new single, Daddy’s Empire,” out on all streaming platforms today. Carried by vintage-toned guitars, a melancholic piano arrangement, live drums, and a subtle undercurrent of trip-hop, “Daddy’s Empire” is one of the most instrumentally rich tracks on her forthcoming album.

Ana’s signature haunting vocals and unflinching lyricism capture the ache of recognizing someone’s potential and the disappointment of realizing they’re not ready to rise to it. It’s not a song about resentment, but about the kind of burnout that comes from loving a “man child”—someone whose energy and emotional immaturity begin to quietly take a toll. Sometimes the red flags aren’t obvious, but the imbalance is there, and over time, it begins to erode the relationship.

Reflecting on the relationship that inspired the song, Ana shares: “There was no lack of love between us—but I saw patterns in him that came from immaturity. Not in the way he treated me, but in how he lived: he’d talk about big dreams but never pursue them, complain about toxic friends but stay stuck in the same dynamics, shut down instead of speaking up. I wanted so badly for him to be happy, to grow into who he could be. But he couldn’t see what needed to change, and I couldn’t make him see it. That’s where the heartbreak really lived. This song holds space for that frustration, but also for the truth that we were both still growing. There’s no villain here.”

Fresh off a wave of back-to-back releases, Jamaican dancehall star 1Ski OG keeps the heat coming with his latest single, “Bounce,” out today via Against Da Grain/Epic Records. A high-energy, feel-good anthem made for summer streets and dance floors alike, the track arrives with an accompanying visual to match its explosive vibe.

Evalyn has spent over a decade transforming personal turbulence into pop catharsis. The Los Angeles-based artist, whose work has amassed over 130 million streams on Spotify, returns with her most ambitious project yet—A Quiet Life, an album that captures the existential unraveling of modern consciousness through the lens of impending motherhood.

Known for wrapping raw emotional intensity in irresistible melodies, Evalyn first captivated audiences as the voice behind Louis the Child’s breakout track “Fire,” before establishing herself as both a sought-after collaborator and formidable solo artist. Her 2018 psychedelic pop opus Salvation cultivated a devoted following, exploring themes of self-rescue that would become her artistic calling card. The album’s 2024 vinyl re-release, featuring new material, proved her enduring resonance with fans seeking depth beneath the dance floor.

A Quiet Life pushes further into conceptual territory, drawing production inspiration from the dissonant frequencies of Aphex Twin, ARCA, and Grimes. Written and recorded almost entirely during her first pregnancy, the 13-track collection mirrors the physical and psychological chaos of transformation—the nausea of anxiety, the noise of endless scrolling, the vertigo of losing oneself while creating new life. It’s her most visceral work yet, co-created with some of Los Angeles’ most innovative producers to weave a sonic narrative of consciousness, tension, and surrender.
