Superman’s Krypto Gets 4 Short Films. Watch Here

DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation have kicked off Krypto Saves the Day!, a brand-new 4-part series of animated shorts, with the release of its first episode.

The debut installment, Part 1 – School Bus Scuffle, sees the beloved DCU pup racing after a mischievous pigeon while also trying to save a school bus full of kids.

These shorts take inspiration from James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film, which hits digital platforms for purchase or rental on August 15, ahead of its 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on September 23. School Bus Scuffle will be included as one of the special features in Superman’s digital and physical editions.

According to the official synopsis:

“Look, Pup! Fresh off his breakout role in Superman, Krypto returns in a collection of original comedic animated shorts. Krypto Saves the Day! brings the caped canine’s signature heroics to everyday life in Metropolis. From school bus rescues to Spring Break cruise ship saves — and even Halloween candy emergencies — no mission is too small for Krypto’s super-powered antics, laughs, and good-natured troublemaking, perfect for fans of all ages.”

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios, Krypto Saves the Day! will roll out its next three adventures — Halloween Havoc, Package Pandemonium, and Coastal Catastrophe — individually through 2026.
