Originating on the shores of Oahu as teenage buddies, Tyke James (vocals/guitar) and Addison Sharp (guitar) traded in beaches for the Great Salt Lake joining forces with Willie Fowler (drums) Caiden Jackson (bass) to form The Moss. As the group’s principal songwriter, Tyke channels his own personal experiences and passions into The Moss’ radiant and deceptively sunny tunes—their unique version of organic indie rock draws from artists like Pinegrove and Kevin Morby for sonic inspiration. The band’s insightful songs and memorable live shows have earned The Moss acclaim across the music press world, including Alternative Press, Under The Radar, The Alternative, LADYGUNN, Earmilk, Atwood Magazine and OnesToWatch. Their new single “Darkness” is off of their highly anticipated forthcoming EP. Tyke of the band confides, “Darkness is written as this cyclical thought, of caring deeply about someone, but needing space from them to sort out your own emotions.”

sensational alt-pop star Isabel LaRosa releases her new single, “My Girl” via Slumbo Labs/RCA Records.
The track captures the ache of waiting for someone through dreamy soundscapes, encapsulating quiet yearning into a sweeping, emotionally charged experience. It expands the sonic universe Isabel began crafting with her debut album Raven—a world that’s both immersive and hauntingly beautiful, suspended between tenderness and tension.
On “My Girl,” Isabel shares: “My Girl is about wanting someone you know you can’t have, but still not being able to let go of the “what if.” It’s about being unafraid to love loudly even if there are consequences. It’s very special to me because it’s a part of my identity that I’ve never shared before.”

Alternative R&B with a psychedelic twist, Remy Nova, the artist name of Jeremy Little—releases his new single, “Oh Deed (On Gummy Weed),” a woozy, immersive trip through space, time, and the effects of one gummy too many. Combining wry storytelling with dreamy production, the track invites listeners to float in the ether and recall that one time they flew a little too close to the cannabis-infused sun.

Born on three continents, fluent in four languages, and raised between cultures, Tanis is the embodiment of the modern global artist. Raised everywhere from the Caribbean to Asia to Europe – her music, like her life, crosses boundaries and blends traditions.
In her brand new single ‘Kid’, she is honest and open about the complexities of adult life and the longing to relive childhood. The wish to go back to a time – even for a moment – where there was less to worry about, less responsibilities, and less judgement. Tanis showcases just how self aware she is with observational and insightful lyrics on ‘Kid’, she sings: ‘It used to be cute when I was foolish, but no one forgives my actions now.’
‘Kid’ is a nostalgic pop masterpiece with powerful and striking visuals that echo the sentiment of the song. The music video, captured by defining photographer Paul Cruz, is simple yet wonderfully effective. Tanis begins singing to the camera with a backdrop behind her – she eventually tears down this backdrop and enters a new space – filled with giant teddy bears and balloons, a symbolic reference of childhood and essentially going back in time. The teddy bears were originally planned to be a lot smaller than the ones seen in the final take but the wrong teddy bears came and were massive. The team were flexible, deciding to work with this, and as a result created visuals that are even more eye-catching, innovative and creative.
Shoka Sunflower is a 24-year-old artist from Johannesburg, South Africa, whose music is grounded in emotional honesty, introspection, and a commitment to inspiring authenticity. His creative journey began at 12 when his older brother introduced him to the expansive world of music. By 16, Shoka had already chosen his path—committing to music not just as a craft, but as a means of self-understanding and human connection.
His new album, For Now Keep Dancing, marks a defining moment in that journey. Entirely produced by Moo Latte (G-Eazy, Method Man, Jadakiss, Freddie Gibbs, and Cordae), the record finds Shoka at his most vulnerable. Written during a dark period in his childhood bedroom, the album is a deep dive into emotional avoidance, identity, and the quiet chaos of your early twenties. “The biggest thing I realised about myself,” Shoka says, “was my inability to confront things directly. So I made a project that mirrors that.”

London-based artist Luvrite, of Dutch-Taiwanese heritage, unveils his second single, “Where To Find Me” – taken from his forthcoming six-track EP, Slowly Rushing.
Blending the smooth textures of R&B soul with the moody edge of dark pop, “Where To Find Me” delves into themes of connection, vulnerability, and the often isolating nature of the music industry. It’s elegantly crafted instrumentation and luscious, immersive harmonies provide a rich backdrop for Luvrite’s raw and introspective lyricism. The track captures the emotional weight of drifting apart, especially when life becomes overwhelming. “I don’t wanna know, it makes me vulnerable,” Luvrite confesses in a haunting pre-chorus, while the chorus echoes like a quiet plea: “Cause you know where to find me, love.”
Delving into the story behind the track Luvrite tells us: “Where To Find Me” is the kind of track that hits hardest around 2AM, when you’re restless and torn between wanting everything and nothing. That 2AM motivation followed by emptiness. It’s made for long drives with no destination or late-night walks to clear your head. Nobody knows where you are, except that one person who always does. At the core,
it’s a song about being understood when you’re on your journey. Even when you don’t know the destination yet.”

Legendary DJ and dance music pioneer Paul Oakenfold and rising star, singer songwriter, Jessica Sweetman unleash a bold, high-energy reinvention of Nancy Sinatra’s timeless hit “Bang Bang” with a dark, hypnotic twist.
The electrifying new single, out today, transforms the moody 1966 classic into a pulsating club record that blends Oakenfold’s signature trance-laced production with Sweetman’s sultry, haunting vocal delivery. The result is a cinematic, late-night anthem that’s already generating buzz on dancefloors across Ibiza and London.
“I’ve always loved Bang Bang for its raw emotion and atmosphere,” says Oakenfold. “I wanted to respect the original while giving it a completely new context — something you can lose yourself to in the club at 3AM. Jessica brought an incredible edge to it.”
Jessica Sweetman brings both nostalgia and reinvention to the track with a vocal performance that is equal parts vulnerable and fierce — a perfect foil to the brooding, bass-heavy production.
“Bang Bang has always struck a chord with me — there’s something timeless and raw in its songwriting. It’s powerful and there’s a lot of emotion beneath the surface,” says Sweetman. “When Paul and I began working on this version, I wanted to bring something fresh but still respectful of the original. For me, it’s about taking heartbreak and turning it into a strength, but also a kind of feminine reckoning – elegant, cinematic, and powerful. The track has a dark energy – something you can feel and move to.”

Indie-rock breakout meg elsier returns with spittake (deluxe) out today via Bright Antenna Records. The expanded edition of her acclaimed debut features 17 tracks—including unreleased demos, raw live recordings, and intimate B-sides—offering a deeper look into the emotional and creative heart of the original album.
Blending gauzy shoegaze textures, grungy guitars, and razor-sharp lyricism, spittake (deluxe) gives a more unfiltered glimpse into the messy, uncertain, and deeply human process behind the music. Through candid reflections on love, loss, nostalgia, youth, anxiety, and self-doubt, meg draws listeners deeper into her sonic world with sharp self-awareness and a distinctly self-deprecating edge.
“These B-sides, these demos, this deluxe—it’s a celebration of all the little choices that made ‘spittake’ what it is,” meg says. “Creating is such a vulnerable playground. It’s a place to make mistakes. It’s a place to try these characters and voices and performances without anyone watching. I wanted to show how much beauty can exist in the unfinished and imperfect.”

Championing a rare lyrical integrity that encapsulates youth culture while channelling faith, purpose, self-discipline, and the youth-led spark igniting the creative arts, Stepz’s inspired and unapologetic approach – urging a generation to find solace and embrace their true potential – continues to amass serious recognition across the culture. Already co-signed by some of the most influential figures and tastemakers in the landscape, alongside an immense cult following across socials, Stepz is cementing his name into the international blueprint – and he’s having fun with it.
Across ‘Good Influence’, Stepz emerges more focused than ever, delivering his bold, spiritually-charged mission statement over sharp, glitchy percussion and vibrant, sample-driven sound waves. The Croydon rapper effortlessly captures the spirit of youth culture while offering a message of perseverance and growth. Delivering his most self-assured performances to date on “Titanic” and “Whistle”, Stepz rejects street life in hopes to inspire inner-city youth to find strength and guidance within.
That same conviction carries into “Superhero”, where Stepz shuts out distractions and remains grounded in his faith and authenticity. “Nostalgia” slows things down with a heartfelt reflection on his journey from hardship to clarity, before the EP closes out with his highly acclaimed track “Rock”. Sitting on over 80M streams and counting, Stepz affirms his place as one of the most influential names emerging across the landscape.
Firmly establishing his persona and sound as standout, 2024 saw the release of Stepz’s viral smash hit, “Rock” (watch). A triumphant moment bursting with punchy instrumentation and infectious flows, the single has earned serious co-signs globally from Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed to Headie One and Krept & Konan, alongside critical tastemaker love from HYPEBEAST, COMPLEX UK, CLASH and WONDERLAND. The record would officially hit #1 on the BILLBOARD Viral Charts, beating the likes of Tyler The Creator and Aphex Twin, before Stepz capped off another breakthrough run with an ON THE RADAR performance (watch); once again asserting his place as a key cultural figure in the digital music scene.

Brazilian-born pop provocateur Laura Pieri returns with “Daughter of Demeter (ON THE DANCEFLOOR),” a hypnotic, dance-infused reimagining of her 2024 single from the Frankie EP. The track will appear alongside “Sea of Tragedy (ON THE DANCEFLOOR)” on Frankie (ON THE DANCEFLOOR), the forthcoming expanded edition of the EP, arriving later this summer.
Whereas the original “Daughter of Demeter” was a visceral, full-throttle scream fueled by rage, heartbreak, and defiance, this new version simmers with quiet confidence. “This remix is what happens when that fire simmers into something slower, sharper, and slyer,” Pieri shares. “The fury isn’t gone. There’s a defiance in turning pain into pleasure, and that’s what this version does: it lounges in heartbreak with style. It’s rage on vacation.”
The remix sees Pieri stretching the emotional range of her songwriting, nestling her fiercest lyrics into a sleek, sultry sonic landscape. “It made me rethink how we process and present emotion, especially feminine emotion,” she shares. “Sometimes healing looks like dancing. Sometimes grief shows up in a slow sway.”
