The series features a talented ensemble cast including Odessa A’zion (Grand Army) as Tallulah, Jordan Firstman (Dave) as Charlie, and True Whitaker (Godfather of Harlem) as Alani.

According to the show’s logline, I Love LA follows “a codependent friend group reunites, navigating how the time apart, ambition, and new relationships have changed them.”

Created and directed by Sennott, the 8-episode series also sees her serving as an executive producer alongside Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Max Silvestri, and Lorene Scafaria. The series will feature guest appearances from Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, Lauren Holt, Elijah Wood, Quenlin Blackwell, Josh Brener, Tim Baltz, Froy Gutierrez, and Colin Woodell.

This project marks Sennott’s latest collaboration with HBO after her previous role alongside Lily-Rose Depp in The Idol. She initially gained widespread recognition with her performance in the 2020 comedy film Shiva Baby, which she also executive-produced. Her other notable works include Bodies Bodies Bodies, Bottoms, and I Used to Be Funny.
