X AMBASSADORS Celebrates Debut Album with Reimagined ‘VHS(X)’

To mark the 10th anniversary of their debut album, alt-rock band X Ambassadors is excited to release VHS(X), now available for streaming here. This reimagined version of VHS offers a new perspective on the original record, bringing fresh life to beloved tracks like “Renegades,” “Unsteady,” “Jungle” (accompanied by a new visualizer now out), and more, all presented in a renewed way. Frontman Sam Nelson Harris shares his thoughts:

“In reworking this album, we had a unique chance to reshape our history a bit. The original creation process was chaotic—recorded backstage, in bathrooms, in the back of our van, and in apartment living rooms—basically, all over the place, especially as we hurried to release it after the success of ‘Renegades’ as a single. But this time, we took our time, stayed in one space, and worked together without pressure. We did it purely out of love for the craft, just like when we were kids playing music in our parents’ basements.”

Fans can keep the celebration going with the VHS(X) Tour this fall. The North American headline tour begins on September 2nd, featuring two hometown shows in Ithaca, as well as stops in Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, and more. Tickets and VIP packages for all upcoming dates are available now at xambassadors.com/tour.
