With Stranger Things nearing its conclusion, Millie Bobby Brown is gearing up for a new adventure in the supernatural genre. The actress is set to star in and executive-produce Prism, an upcoming series on Netflix. The show follows a woman with the ability to communicate with spirits amidst a mysterious global event. Netflix is developing Prism as a new supernatural drama, with Brown taking the lead role. She will also serve as an executive producer alongside Rachel Brosnahan and the Russo brothers’ AGBO company, according to Deadline.
In the series, Brown will portray Cassie, a woman endowed with the power to speak with spirits. Her life takes a dramatic turn when a worldwide phenomenon causes ghostly “visitors” to appear across the globe. To prevent chaos, Cassie must uncover the origins of this strange occurrence. Details about Brosnahan’s character remain under wraps.
Prism will be helmed by showrunner Etan Frankel. The series is based on a short story titled Prism, originally published in Assemble Artifacts magazine and developed in-house by Assemble Media. Nick Shafir, the story’s author, is also onboard as a co-producer. The production will be managed by Assemble Media, with Brown’s involvement through her PCMA banner. The executive production team also includes Brosnahan and Russell Kahn of Scrap Paper Pictures.
Additionally, the project involves Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes, and Alessandra Maman of AGBO. Assemble Media’s Jack Heller and Caitlin de Lisser-Ellen are also producers.
Prism marks another chapter in Brown’s expanding collaboration with Netflix, following her recent work with AGBO on The Electric State. Her upcoming projects include Enola Holmes 3, scheduled for release in 2026, and the romantic comedy Just Picture It, which she is producing and developing. Meanwhile, her long-running hit Stranger Things will come to an end later this year with its fifth and final season, airing in three parts from November 26 to December 31.
Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date for Prism.
