Netflix has revealed the release date for His & Hers, an upcoming psychological thriller drama starring Tessa Thompson (known for Creed and Sylvie’s Love) and Jon Bernthal (from The Bear). Along with the announcement, the streamer has released official photos offering a first look at Thompson and Bernthal’s characters, Ana and Jack. The limited series is set to premiere on Thursday, January 8, 2026, exclusively on Netflix. The six-episode drama also features Pablo Schreiber (Halo), Marin Ireland (The Umbrella Academy), Sunita Mani (Death of a Unicorn), Crystal Fox (The Big Door Prize), and Rebecca Rittenhouse (Four Weddings and a Funeral).

The series is written and executive-produced by showrunners Dee Johnson and William Oldroyd, adapted from Alice Feeney’s novel of the same name. In addition to starring, Thompson is also an executive producer, along with writer Bill Dubuque, Kristen Campo for Campout Productions, Jessica Chastain and Kelly Carmichael for Freckle Films, and Kishori Rajan for Viva Maude.

According to the official synopsis, the story is set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta, where Anna leads a reclusive life, fading away from her friends and her career as a news anchor. Her world is turned upside down when she overhears about a murder in Dahlonega, her hometown, prompting her to rekindle her search for answers. Detective Jack Harper becomes suspicious of her involvement, leading to a tense pursuit that puts her at the center of his investigation. The series explores the idea that there are two sides to every story—His & Hers—where someone is always hiding the truth.
