INsiders Guide: COLBIE CAILLAT, HUDSON WESTBROOK & MARSHMELLO, HAYDEL, Becca Hannah, Paris WYA…

• 5x GRAMMY-nominee, Colbie Caillat, releases her most collaborative and heartfelt project yet, This Time Around. The duets album pairs reimagined favorites with new originals, performed alongside guest artists and longtime friends. It celebrates the timeless appeal of her songwriting while introducing fresh collaborations across country, pop, and soul.

• “This album means so much to me. I wanted to revisit songs that shaped my journey while sharing new ones that reflect who I am today. Doing it with friends I admire made it even more special.” – Colbie Caillat.

• GRAMMY-winner Maren Morris, who’s covered Caillat’s songs since she was seventeen, joins on the reimagining of the 2x RIAA Platinum hit “Fallin’ For You,” for a truly full-circle moment.

First performed together at CMA Fest at Spotify’s Hot Country House at Ole Red, Hudson and Marshmello finally deliver their highly anticipated collaboration, “Better Man Than Me.” The track pushes Hudson into a new sonic lane and further cements Marshmello’s rise in the country space.

• This release follows Hudson’s critically acclaimed album Texas Forever, which currently sits at #17 on Billboard’s Top Country chart and features his single “House Again,” now at #4 on this week’s Country Aircheck Top 50.

• With 12.5M new streams this week, Hudson continues to build momentum as he returns to the road in October with Parker McCollum, while also hitting dates on his own headlining tour and gearing up to support Bailey Zimmerman next year.

Co-written with Heath Warren (Bailey Zimmerman), HAYDEL releases “Heaven and Back,” a hard-hitting, heartbreak track that captures the weight of regret and sting of lost love.

• “‘Heaven and Back’ came from that gut-punch of not realizing what you had until it’s gone. I came to a session with the idea, and in two hours it just poured out. The title flips the usual ‘hell and back’ on its head, because for me it wasn’t about surviving pain, it was about realizing I’d already lived in heaven while I was with this person. We gave it this big, epic rock sound to match the weight of that emotion.” — HAYDEL

• The track follows a pair of deeply personal singles, “Cigarettes on Church Steps” and “I Shouldn’t Be Here.”

LA via Boston soulful/R&B singer-songwriter Becca Hannah announces her warm, velvety debut album Tonight In My Dreams due out January 23 and available for pre-save now. With the announcement is the sweet first taste, “Caramel,” out now, which playfully encapsulates the feelings of a new love. Watch the live video from the studio here.

Born from real life experiences, the forthcoming ten track project touches on lust, love, growth, fear, loss, and longing with soulful vocals and layers of jazz and R&B as Hannah pulls from female powerhouses like Amy Winehouse, Corrine Bailey Rae and Erykah Badu. Hannah hopes the music connects to listeners in whichever ways they find meaningful. Creating her own sense of community through music, Hannah adds, “We all love, we all suffer, and how beautiful is it that we can relate to each other through songs that highlight all of the above? It brings a sense of community and acknowledgement of our humanness. It makes the ebbs of life more manageable, and the flows all the more blissful.”

The album was tracked live with a 9-piece ensemble, and recorded and mixed by seven time GRAMMY-winner Jim Scott at his own Plyrz Studio in Valencia, CA.

Paris WYA is a fearless, cosmopolitan pop artist whose music blends emotional lyricism with a globally inspired perspective. Born in Shanghai and raised across Asia, Europe, and the U.S., she draws on her diverse background to craft a versatile sound marked by powerful vocals, catchy hooks, and striking emotional imagery. With two EPs—UNTANGLED (2024) and GLITCH (2025)—already showcasing her range, Paris now turns toward a more songwriting-focused, dreamy energy on her forthcoming project MANNEQUIN, highlighting her growing prowess while continuing to fuse global influences with pop ambition.

Fresh off signing his new deal with Ricky Hil’s Limosa Nostra Records, in a JV with 10K Projects and Atlantic Records, SosMula is ready to make a major solo impact with KAMP KRYSTL LAKE.  Taking his dark trap sound to its limit, the album finds Sleezy on a mission, locking into each song with his animated delivery in an attempt to burrow into the depths of listeners’ subconsciousnesses. KAMP KRYSTL LAKE is the underground king’s first solo album since splitting from City Morgue, his boundary-pushing, stadium-rocking rap duo. The Brazil-born, New York-raised rapper plans to release KAMP KRYSTL LAKE in time for Halloween.

BANA has already made a significant impact with major releases such as her viral Kurdish-language single “Birwa Nakem”—which earned direct support from TikTok’s Breakthrough Programme. The track continues to build momentum, amassing over 132M views and 55K sound creations on TikTok, alongside more than 8M views on YouTube—cementing her rare ability to navigate and resonate across both regional and global music spheres. BANA has also been championed by key tastemakers such as EUPHORIA and WONDERLAND, with the latter describing her as an “artist in full evolution”.

With her feet always planted in western fashion, last year saw BANA styled by Kirsty Stewart (FLO, Zara Larson) and most recently, her English-language music video campaign has showcased a sophisticated new visual direction, led by stylist Lucy Bonner.

Outside the studio, BANA is an active advocate for women’s rights in Kurdistan through her work with SEED Foundation, and finds balance through fitness, fashion and wellness. Whether on stage, on screen, or staying active outside, she represents a new kind of artist -fearless, diasporic and entirely her own.

With a number of releases on the way, whilst working closely with Mojam (One Direction, Sam Smith, Jessie Ware, Emeli Sandé), Starsmith (Ellie Goulding, Zedd, Clean Bandit, Lady Gaga) and Frances (Dua Lipa, SG Lewis, Jess Glynne, Maisie Peters), 2025 looks set to be a milestone year for one of the hottest new voices in the pop landscape. The immediate gloss and polish of BANA’s output points to the rapid assertion and focus of a genuinely compelling global talent.

Portland rock band Guitar, the project of Saia Kuli, is excited to share another preview of We’re Headed To The Lake, available everywhere October 10, 2025, via beloved tastemaker label Julia’s War Recordings. “Chance to Win” arrives today, reflecting on the potential of a new beginning and the possibility of success. Delicate guitar riffs surround laidback vocals from Kuli’s wife, Jontajshae Smith, followed by intricate string arrangements.

“This song is about the excitement of an opportunity, feeling electricity in the air and trying to stay cool and not fumble,” Kuli says.

Salt Lake City indie pop artist and powerhouse vocalist Mykel aims to stay grounded with “How Do You Know” out now. Her stirring debut EP Hometown Runaway is due out November 7, which wrestles with faith, ego, leaving home and more.

The artist calls the latest track her “405 spiral song, an anxious anthem worth dancing to“–optimal for long highway drives and late nights spent questioning everything. Here, she faces her anxiety head-on. Recorded in her home state with a close friend, Mykel says, “I wrote this tune in 2 hours with one of my best friends and longtime collaborator, Todd Tran. We did this in Utah in his home studio.”
