Acclaimed singer and songwriter Doe Paoro unveiled a stunning live video for her new single “Forgiveness Is,” first premiered via Live Nation’s Ones to Watch.
“I was very blocked before I got into writing this record — so devastated by the state of the world and all the harms in it — and I decided to do a full inventory around forgiveness, working on making amends and also offering grace where I was holding anger, and the light slowly started streaming back in and the music came too,” Paoro said. “It’s an endless practice and so powerful.”

“Forgiveness Is” appears on Paoro’s new full-length album “Living Through Collapse” — her first in seven years and her most unbridled, expansive, and spiritually attuned work to date. The album explores the intersections of grief, repair, and renewal, inviting listeners to embrace transformation in an era of profound change.
Recorded partly in Costa Rica, “Living Through Collapse” reflects Paoro’s global, collaborative ethos. She co-produced the record with Devin Gati, working with a wide range of contributors including Jonathan Wilson (Angel Olsen, Father John Misty), Chris Sholar (Solange, Esperanza Spalding), Lagartijeando (Argentinian electronic-folk innovator), and Liam Fletcher (Danit). The result is an earthy yet celestial sound — one that merges ambient textures, folk instrumentation, and electronic flourishes into a luminous whole.
The album’s artwork, created by multi-media artist Elena Stonaker and developed in collaboration with Finland’s Tsto Studio, extends Paoro’s vision into the visual realm. The imagery — rooted in animism, connection, and the mystery of the natural world — mirrors the record’s spiritual and ecological themes.
With ‘Living Through Collapse” and her new live rendition of “Forgiveness Is,” Doe Paoro offers both a balm and a call to action—music that heals, stirs, and dares to envision a more conscious world.

The Franco-American-Greek-Corso-Brussels duo Sages Comme des Sauvages made a return with their most audacious release yet — “Aymeric Lompret,” a collaboration with the comedian himself, once a fixture of France Inter and now a mischievous voice on Radio Nova. Out now via cult Belgian-French label Capitane Records, the track offers a first glimpse of the duo’s forthcoming EP, due early 2026.
After writing an anthem for the CGT’s 130th anniversary compilation, Ava Carrère and Ismaël Colombani decided to up the ante — by setting a trap.
“After ten years in the showbiz world, we realize we’re not as famous as we should be,” the duo joked. “So we decided to trap someone. Aymeric was perfect.”
The result is a madcap collision of satire, poetry, and groove — equal parts rap battle, absurd musical, and anarchic love letter to French pop culture. Over playful riffs and incantatory choruses, Lompret stumbles into their world almost against his will, volleying dry wit and self-deprecating humor in a duet that’s as ridiculous as it is razor-sharp.
Now partly based in Brussels, Sages Comme des Sauvages continue their decade-long tradition of joyful rebellion, following three acclaimed albums — Largue la peau (2016), Luxe Misère (2020), and Maison Maquis (2024). With their singular blend of folk, funk, and fearless experimentation, Carrère (a visual artist and polyglot) and Colombani (a classically trained violinist turned multi-instrumentalist) thrive in the in-between: between the popular and the avant-garde, between sincerity and satire, between laughter and revolt.

With “Aymeric Lompret,” Sages Comme des Sauvages prove once again that nobody else sounds — or schemes — quite like them.

Genre-defying producers HallMighty and Aldo Vanucci have teamed up for the first time on “You Brighten Up My Day,” a radiant, sun-drenched collaboration out now via Jalapeno Records.
A cover of the rare U.S. band Soapstone original (recently rediscovered on a BBE compilation), this reimagining fuses HallMighty’s warm, Balearic-infused grooves with Vanucci’s unmatched ear for deep cuts and soul samples.
The result is a track that’s equal parts nostalgic and forward-thinking — shimmering, laid-back, and built for sunsets that never end.
Best known for his chart-busting drum & bass hits like “Impossible,” Aldo Vanucci returned to his roots as a downbeat don and master sample hunter. Meanwhile, HallMighty brings his signature Disco Deluxe and SUNSET SESSIONS sensibility.
“Aldo’s one of those people who makes you laugh so much you forget what you were actually talking about,” HallMighty said. “Luckily, somewhere between the jokes I think we made a great track.”
With an instrumental rework that glows with analog warmth and a standout vocal performance (from an uncredited but familiar name in Aldo’s contact book), “You Brighten Up My Day” feels destined to join the ranks of Jalapeno’s sunniest classics — a feel-good anthem that bridges decades of groove culture.

Powerhouse producer Das Mörtal joined forces with alt-pop visionary I’MMORTAL for a thrilling new reimagining of her glitch-pop single “Uncanny Valley,” released October 31, 2025 via IMMORTALITY.
In true Halloween spirit, the collaboration is a collision of worlds: Das Mörtal’s brooding, synth-driven soundscapes meet I’MMORTAL’s avant-pop theatrics. Trading the original’s eerie trap pulse for a heavily industrial Darksynth overhaul, Das Mörtal transforms “Uncanny Valley” into a menacing, mechanical symphony.
The release arrives alongside a spellbinding music video — a cinematic fever dream brought to life with support from the New York Foundation for the Arts.
The music video blurs lines between performance art and horror cinema. Bathed in cool blue and vivid red light, I’MMORTAL commands the screen — a futuristic siren dancing in towering pleasers and mirrored visors — while a monstrous male figure watches from flickering screens. As the remix intensifies, their bodies twist and dissolve in surreal, clay-like mutation, ending in a chilling reveal that redefines “uncanny.”
“Like most remixes I do, I was trying to make it sound as if this could be the original version of the track rather than have the vibe of a remix,” Das Mörtal said.

With over 28 million Spotify streams and festival slots from Osheaga to Transmusicales de Rennes, Das Mörtal has carved a name for himself in the world of dark electronic music. His genre-defying blend of Techno, Occult Electro, and cinematic horror influences has earned him praise from CLASH, KALTBLUT, METAL Magazine, and YourEDM alike.
Meanwhile, I’MMORTAL — the New York and London-based artist, producer, and creative director — continues to redefine modern pop through her vivid fusion of sound and vision. Since debuting in 2023 with “Versace Spaceship,” she’s captivated tastemakers from DJ Mag Spain to Wonderland, pairing her classically trained ear with futuristic, camp-infused visuals.
Together, Das Mörtal and I’MMORTAL deliver a work that feels both supernatural and deeply human — a sonic séance where machine and emotion intertwine.

Montréal / Los Angeles trio American Lips are back with a new album “On Strike!,” out now via Ancient Fashion Records. The record is a jagged art-rock thrill ride — landing somewhere between Wire, Pixies, Devo, and Parquet Courts — yet sounding completely, chaotically their own.
Fronted by Adrian Popovich (Tricky Woo, FRVITS) — a commanding presence both on guitar and behind the mic — American Lips funnel frustration into ferocity, playfulness, and pure release. Jessica Bruzzese brings melodic punch and bass-driven swagger, while Sebastien Grainger (of Death From Above 1979) anchors it all with percussive muscle and sardonic flair. Together, the trio make underground rock sound vital again: noisy, human, and a little bit unhinged.
Across “On Strike!,” consumer culture takes a beating (“Cardboard Trash”), exhaustion gets an anthem (“Sleep,” “On Strike”), and the slow-motion collapse of empire becomes darkly funny fodder (“Got It Made”). It’s a social critique turned into danceable chaos — protest music that laughs through the teeth-grit.
Produced and recorded at Ancient Fashion East (Montréal) and Ancient Fashion West (Lucknow, Ontario / Los Angeles), and mixed by Grainger, the album stays true to its analog roots. Popovich’s production credits — from SUUNSand Priors to The Sheepdogs, Duchess Says, and Sam Roberts Band — lend the project both grit and polish.

From their raw 2017 debut “Kiss the Void” to their art-rock maximalist turn on “Waste of Crime / Labor of Hate,” American Lips have always thrived in the tension between humor and heaviness. Now, “On Strike!” pushes that friction to the limit — a bold, sarcastic, and wildly alive reminder that refusal can sound like joy.
This is underground art rock with a pulse — the kind that laughs at collapse while dancing in its ashes.

Southern California punks Moonraker rocked Halloween with a surprise treat: a blazing, harmony-laced cover of Smoking Popes’ 1995 classic “Rubella,” out now on all streaming platforms.
Recorded at Black in Bluhm Music in Denver, Colorado with Chris Fogal and Kyle Tilev, plus additional tracking by Frank Josephs in Santa Clarita, Moonraker reimagine the Popes’ bittersweet favorite through their own gritty, heart-on-sleeve lens.
With a surge of melodic punk energy, the track brings punchy guitars, soaring dual vocals, and a raw emotional pull that hit just right for the season.
“We’ve always really loved this song,” drummer/vocalist David Green said. “It’s for sure my favorite Smoking Popes song. A couple years ago at Fest our buddy Scotty said he was putting together a Smoking Popes tribute comp and asked if we’d want to be on it. I told him we were in as long as we could do ‘Rubella.’”
Formed in Southern California’s vibrant punk scene, Moonraker have built a loyal following with their mix of humor, heart, and high-energy catharsis.

Dying Scene called them “equal parts aggressive and introspective […] the rare band that can make you laugh and cry in the same song,” while Bad Copy hailed them as “one of the most genuine acts in DIY punk.”
The new single kicks off a busy stretch for the band, including a November 7 show at The Escondite in Los Angeles with Stoke Signals, Bad Fatale, and Empired, and teases what’s next in Moonraker’s ever-evolving story.

Los Angeles dreampop/darkwave duo LUCKYANDLOVE rise again with their third album “Humaura,” out now via Southern Record Distributors.
A lush and defiant body of work, “Humaura” captures what the band calls the atmosphere emanating from the feelings of the human spirit, void of technological control. Across its sweeping analog soundscapes and visceral electro-pop rhythms, the record wrestles with what it means to stay human in an increasingly digital world — and celebrates the beauty of reconnection, imperfection, and freedom.
The creative core of LUCKYANDLOVE — Loren Luck and April Love — weave together fuzzy synthgaze, neon-lit darkwave, and tiger-striped electro punk into something fiercely alive. Their live analog beats, Moog instrumentation, and soaring vocal harmonies have earned them global recognition and tours across the US and UK, as well as sync placements and an ever-growing cult following.

Written during the stillness of the pandemic, “Humaura” channels both isolation and rebirth.
Recorded, mixed, and mastered for digital release by Grammy Award-winning engineer Be Hussey (Modern English, Swervedriver, Twin Tribes, The Church) at Balboa Studio and Catwater, and mastered for vinyl by Grammy-nominated Nicholas Townsend (Weezer, Garbage, 2Pac, Grimes) at Townsend Mastering, “Humaura” is both technically pristine and emotionally raw.
The record traces a journey from the electric anxiety of digital overload (“I Am Human”) and the ache of solitude (“Lonely At Night”), to the liberation of truth-telling (“Secret Is Out”) and the radiant clarity of self-discovery (“Melt in Sunshine”). Elsewhere, tracks like “Name of Love,” “Run On Run,” and “Feelz So Good” pulse with kinetic survival energy, while “Hawks Do Cry” and “Down to Black” offer moments of reflection and connection, closing the album on a note of harmony and belonging.
