Amazon MGM has released the trailer for Merv, the holiday rom-com starring Charlie Cox and Zooey Deschanel. Merv is set to release on December 10, 2025, exclusively on Prime Video.
“Anna (Zooey Deschanel) and Russ (Charlie Cox) are navigating their breakup while co-parenting their dog, Merv (played by an adorable Gus). Yet the ending of their relationship hits their pup the hardest: Merv is diagnosed as depressed, and Russ decides to take him to Florida so they can both get out of their ruts. During this time in Florida, Russ and Anna start spending unprecedented time together again, which leads to a rekindling friendship…and perhaps even love again.”
