Netflix has unveiled the first teaser trailer for its highly anticipated adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, bringing fresh life to Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. The six-episode limited series stars Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet opposite Jack Lowden as the brooding Mr. Darcy.
Billed as a faithful and classic retelling of Austen’s timeless romance, the series aims to honor the wit, social commentary, and sweeping love story that have captivated readers for more than two centuries.
The adaptation is written by Dolly Alderton and directed by Euros Lyn. Executive producers include Laura Lankester, Will Johnston, and Louise Mutter for Lookout Point, alongside Alderton and Lyn. Corrin not only leads the cast but also serves as an executive producer, with Lisa Osborne producing.
Pride and Prejudice is slated to premiere on Netflix in Autumn 2026.
