Vince Vaughn stars as a time traveler in the debut trailer for the upcoming sci-fi comedy Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice.
This film, set to premiere next month on Hulu and Hulu via Disney+, is a fresh blend of comedy and science fiction. Written and directed by BenDavid Grabinski, the movie features an ensemble cast including James Marsden and Eiza González alongside Vaughn. The trailer reveals Vaughn’s character, who originates from the future and has traveled back in time via a machine. He teams up with Marsden’s character to fix some past mistakes. However, their mission becomes complicated as they try to prevent Vaughn’s past self from sabotaging their efforts, leading to hilarious antics involving chloroform, fire extinguishers, and more. The trailer’s final scenes hint at Stephen Root playing a “cannibal assassin” who appears to have killed Marsden’s character in the future timeline Vaughn comes from.
The film’s plot is described as “a hilarious, stylized, R-rated action-comedy about two gangsters and the woman they love trying to survive the most dangerous night of their lives—with the twist of a time machine adding to the chaos.”
In addition to Vaughn, the movie features a star-studded cast including Keith David, Jimmy Tatro, Lewis Tan, Ben Schwartz, Emily Hampshire, and Arturo Castro. The film is produced by Andrew Lazar, with Richard Middleton and Vanessa Humphrey serving as executive producers. This marks Grabinski’s second feature directorial effort, following his 2021 film Happily.
Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice will have its world premiere at SXSW Film & TV Festival on March 14, 2026. It will then be available for streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ starting March 27.
