Teaser: Netflix Unveils First Look At Cult Drama ‘Unchosen’ Starring Asa Butterfield

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Unchosen, an upcoming drama series centered on a secretive religious community and the dangerous truths hidden within it. The series stars Asa Butterfield, best known for his role in Sex Education.

According to the official synopsis, the story follows Rosie, a woman living with her husband Adam and their daughter inside a secluded Christian community. Their carefully controlled life begins to unravel when an escaped prisoner named Sam suddenly enters Rosie’s world, forcing her to confront unsettling truths about the environment she has always trusted.

As Rosie begins to question the beliefs and restrictions imposed by the community, cracks also start to appear in her marriage. Sam positions himself as a potential savior, offering Rosie a glimpse of freedom. However, his troubled criminal past raises a troubling question: is the greater threat the cult that controls her life, or the man claiming he can save her?

Molly Windsor leads the series as Rosie, while Butterfield plays her husband Adam. Fra Fee portrays Sam, the mysterious outsider whose arrival disrupts the fragile balance of the group.

The teaser hints that the seemingly peaceful community hides far darker intentions. As Rosie experiences both a physical and emotional awakening, her growing independence threatens the order of the sect — and its leaders appear willing to go to extreme lengths to preserve the illusion of harmony.
