Daisy Edgar-Jones to Star in Paramount’s Film Adaptation of “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow”

Daisy Edgar-Jones has signed on to lead Paramount Pictures’ upcoming film adaptation of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, based on Gabrielle Zevin’s bestselling 2022 novel. The actress, known for her role in Twisters, will portray Sadie Green, a talented and innovative game designer.

The story revolves around two childhood friends whose lives become intertwined as they grow up and enter college. The film chronicles their journey as creative partners in the video game industry. According to the initial logline, “It’s the story of two friends whose lives first intersect in childhood and college. The film follows them as they become creative partners in the video game business.” Set over several decades, the narrative focuses on Sadie Green and her collaborator Sam Masur, along with Sam’s roommate and friend Marx Watanabe, as they establish a video game studio called Unfair Games.

The film will be written and directed by Academy Award winner Siân Heder (CODA), with scripts developed by Mark Bomback and Gabrielle Zevin. Production will be led by Temple Hill’s Wyck Gody, Marty Bowen, and Isaac Klausner, with Zevin serving as an executive producer. The novel has achieved remarkable success, selling over four million copies worldwide after its release in 2022, including editions in 40 foreign languages.

This project marks Edgar-Jones’ latest significant film role, following her appearance in the 2024 disaster movie Twisters alongside Glen Powell. She initially gained widespread recognition for her acclaimed performance in the miniseries Normal People. Fans can also look forward to her upcoming role in Focus Features’ adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel Sense and Sensibility, scheduled for release on September 11, 2026.
