MOBO Award winner and South Manchester’s biggest export Tunde returns to music with the long-awaited release of his new single “Built Different”, dropping tonight at 7pm.
A prodigal entry into the scene in 2024, blazing an incendiary path that saw him win Best Newcomer at the 2024 MOBOs as well as an incredible official UK Top 4 position with his debut tape First Lap, “Built Different” now emerges as Tunde’s first single in over a year, having recently featured on Marnz Malone’s latest single “Chy Cartier’s Adlibs”.

If the world feels overwhelming, Iceland’s most silver-clad pop disruptors have a simple answer: change the vibe. Or more specifically, enter the universe of VÆB. The Icelandic brother duo announce their high-energy new single “GAMERBOI” out 27 February 2026, the
latest preview of their debut album VÆBOUT, arriving 17 April 2026. Fusing emotional pop songwriting with Gen Z absurdism, internet culture, dancefloor chaos and nostalgic 8-bit textures, “GAMERBOI” captures the thrill of getting completely lost inside a digital world. Formed by brothers Matthias David Matthiasson and Halfdan Helgi Matthiasson, so close most people assume they are twins, though Halfdan is actually one year older, VÆB have been creating together for as long as they can remember. From shooting short films on iPads to performing anywhere that would have them, creativity was never optional. It was survival. Their breakthrough began as a joke. A deliberately ridiculous TikTok track about a rapper eating cabbage unexpectedly went viral, becoming their debut single and setting the tone for their anything-goes creative philosophy. Soon after, producer Ingi Bauer joined forces with the brothers, helping shape the hyper-colour, high-impact sound that defines VÆB today.

Metalcore group ERRA has today shared their punishing new single “i. the many names of god”, out now via UNFD. The song – the first part of the album’s closing trilogy that includes “ii. in the gut of the wolf” and “iii. twilight in the reflection of dreams” – seethes with brutal discontent. Listen to “i. the many names of god” here: erra.lnk.to/silence.
On the new single, the band shares: “‘i. the many names of god’ is the first in what we consider the trilogy of silence outlives the earth. The trilogy represents a distinct shift in tone from the previous songs on the record. We wanted the aesthetic of the tracklisting to persuade the feeling of that shift. The record transitions to a darker place at this point, and many names serves to take the heaviest moods expressed in the preceding tracks and visceralize them.”

Perfect Weather for Humans began in 2016 as a long-distance recording project among friends in Saint Louis and San Diego. At its core, the project’s genesis was about comradery and growth as artists. Trading files worked well to find a sound, sharpen writing skills, and create efficiently. The project started to feel more like a band in 2021 when the four primary collaborators (Micah Parker, Chan Evans, Will Jones and Shae Moseley) convened in St. Louis to record what became the Northstar EP.
A diverse set of songs, Northstar touched on shoegaze, dream pop, alt rock and post rock. Released in 2022, it was the first effort that felt like a cohesive piece of work that benefited from chemistry created in the live room. The new album Come Apart in the Middle expands on this approach with all four members contributing to the writing and arranging process. The collection of songs is a leap forward in every aspect (heavier moments, introspective ballads, experimental art rock).

South London-based songwriter Annabell shares her soft yet angsty new single ‘You’re Alright.’ In a lyric most can relate to feeling at some point in a relationship, Annabell sings beautifully ‘“I pick up the pieces And nobody sees it. ”‘You’re Alright’ is available now on your streaming service of choice via APOLLO Distribution.
Emotionally honest and reflective, it’s a cathartic indie pop moment that feels soothing, raw, and quietly powerful.

Annabell’s latest release is a moody electronic pop track built on breathy, intimate vocals, soothing synths, and subtle acoustic textures. Coined an ‘angry-sad’ song by Annabell, expressing the frustration and quiet exhaustion of holding everything together while being there for someone you love.
Speaking about today’s release, Annabell explains “I often write songs in my phone notes, little poems, little song ideas, journalling etc. I had this one line “I write about you every time I pick up the pen” stuck in my head, about the idea of someone who occupies your every thought – you write about them, you journal about them… someone who’s ultimately toxic for you – who you’d keep giving to even if you didn’t get anything back.”

Nashville-based artist and producer Mel Denisse has always leaned into duality. Whether she’s blending left-field pop with jagged alt-rock or threading delicate vocals through dissonant, distorted production, Denisse is drawn to the clash with her newest genre-defiant single, “aiming alone”. She shares, ” ‘aiming alone’ details wanting to be understood with urgency, while still feeling sealed off behind glass. On the other side, the world watches and speculates, close enough to see you, never close enough to meet you. That distance becomes the point: the two realities can’t be reconciled. The outro carries that into finality – an acceptance of the lone road, and the resolve of aiming alone.”
Previous releases earned spins on BBC Radio 1’s Alternative Show, placement on Spotify’s All New Rock, and praise from tastemakers at LADYGUNN, who applauded her “singular approach to alt-rock and pop, setting her apart in a saturated landscape,” calling it “refreshing, essential listening for those craving authenticity in an age of imitation.” Meanwhile, EARMILK described Denisse’s vocal performance as “striking and inviting, as if dispatched from another dimension, in the best way possible, creating a cinematic, noir-drenched world that blurs alt-rock grit with atmospheric storytelling.”

Inspired by the musical greats of his homeland, such as Airto Moreira, Naná Vasconcelos, Egberto Gismonti, ‘Amú’ harnesses a timeless quality, demonstrating his incredible ability to organically weave together golden compositions with heartfelt storytelling. Centred around his passion for playing the guitar, the tracks follow an unbridled and uninhibited approach to creation. Brought to life by a jazz ensemble, the album flows like a summer breeze, carefree and full of potent life energy.
On the album’s inspiration, Alcides says: ‘This is my first album. It’s simple, honest, and very special to me. My main intention was to get these ideas and feelings out, materialize them, and give them a permanent form, so I could move on to the next chapter. I’m very grateful to have achieved that. “I dedicate this album to my grandma, Vó Maria. She was wise, funny, and my greatest inspiration in art. I also dedicate it to my aunt, Tia Rosa, the nicest human I’ve ever met and the most welcoming host. I’m very grateful for the time I was able to share with them in this life. Paying a heartfelt homage to the beautiful and uncomplicated moments in life, ‘Amú’ is an impressive offering from a bonafide new talent.

Revealing another cut from his upcoming album, eclectic producer, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist Monster Rally has today released “Flight to Capri” featuring the late, great American composer Henry Mancini. The song samples the instantly recognizable 1961 track “Lujon” that has appeared across pop culture in everything from The Big Lebowski to “HOT WIND BLOWS” by Tyler, The Creator and Lil Wayne. Today’s release of “Flight to Capri” is another interpretation of the undeniable escapist luxury of the Mancini classic — Stream.
“Getting to work with Manicini, especially with ‘Lujon,’ is a dream for me,” shared Monster Rally. “One of the first songs I remember loving as a kid was the Pink Panther theme. As an adult, I have a collection of Mancini records and soundtracks. He was truly the master of making cinematic music. For ‘Flight to Capri,’ I was hoping to create something familiar but unexpected. I wanted my instrumentation to complement the lush strings and guide it in a different cinematic direction. The finished track is my version of the opening credits of a 60s tropical spy movie set in a sun-soaked location.”
Set for release on March 27, Monster Rally’s tenth full-length record is titled Echoes of the Emerald Sands. Venturing into uncharted territory, the upcoming record will be Monster Rally’s first that isn’t purely instrumental. He recruited not just one or two guest vocalists, but a whole fleet of artists and industry friends to sing over his recordings. The list of collaborators includes TV Girl, Jordana, Toledo, Mei Semones, X-Cetra, Leisure, Sessa, Nella, Miles Michaud (Allah-Las), Benét, Jordann, Munya and more. Ditching the tropical, sample-based plunderphonics of his past work, he decided to record everything from scratch in his Cleveland home studio — resulting in some of the liveliest, most vivid music in Monster Rally history.

Mary Ocher has developed a fiercely independent voice shaped by displacement, political rupture, and life on the cultural margins. The adventurous Berlin artist returns with a piano record, written on a classic instrument from the 1870s, marking a departure from recent experimentations with post-punk, krautrock, ambient and field recordings.
Weimar, out March 13th via Underground Institute, draws on 20th-century minimalism, chamber-pop, and modern classical. Yet it remains unmistakably Ocher, thoughtful and grounded in emotional depth.
Born in Moscow to Jewish-Ukrainian parents and raised in Tel Aviv during political turmoil, she learned to question authority and narrative at a very young age, and that doing so came at a hefty price – as each generation of her family relocated with changing political tides.
At twenty, after refusing the draft, she left for Berlin, where she became a central underground figure, known for her uncompromising mixture of art and politics, and critical writing on nationalism and war, releasing records with political manifestos, making DIY films, performing in national theaters and museums, as well as queer sex clubs.

Footballhead have released a new single today called “Fall Away”, which can be found on the band’s upcoming new album ‘Weight of The Truth’, out March 20 via Tiny Engines. The song is the third track to be released from the album and follows “Used To Be” and “Diversion” also out now.
“We obviously wanted the record to be eclectic,” says the band on the new single out today. “We thought that this collection of songs needed a big rock ballad. It’s been a minute since bands really pushed that flavor and we wanted to prove we can do it. We haven’t done anything like this yet where there are strings and keys underneath everything; they accompany the rest of the big guitars so beautifully. My friend Mike Altergott tracked all the strings and keys- he’s so talented. This song is essential to Weight of The Truth’s completion.”

The music vehicle of Robert Kuhn, GALVEZTON’s work spans surf-tinged psychedelic rock ‘n’ roll, folk, and roots music. Dripping in charisma, swagger, and confidence, the new single features husky vocals and guitar twangs that pay homage to the city where Kuhn grew up.

HARD Events has announced the lineup for the return of HARD Summer Music Festival, set to take place in Inglewood on August 1-2, 2026. HARD Summer is returning to Hollywood Park, the expansive entertainment complex adjacent to SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater.
Since its debut in 2007, HARD Events has evolved into a defining fixture of Southern California’s festival landscape. The event is renowned for its genre-spanning programming, with a curatorial ethos always on the pulse, and an unmistakable visual identity that celebrates Los Angeles’ raw, grungy, city energy. Each summer, HARD welcomes a diverse, style-forward crowd to experience a collision of electronic and live music culture, reflecting the city’s layered musical landscape. Over time, HARD Summer has cemented its place as one of the West Coast’s most influential mid-year festivals and the largest electronic music event in Los Angeles.
HARD Summer’s 2026 lineup will be led by a top tier selection of global headliners and crossover icons – including GRAMMY-winning Colombian visionary Kali Uchis, a rare collaborative next-gen meets superstar moment with Knock2 B2B Zedd, global French hitmaker DJ Snake (Hip-Hop Set), Dominican pop disruptor Tokischa, boundary breaking club provocateur Shygirl presents Club Shy, and multi-hyphenate DJ, rapper, and comedian Zack Fox. Added highlights include Belgian hard techno powerhouses Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens, meteoric house phenomenon Mau P, trap and bass architect RL Grime, and the ever innovative dance titan Maceo Plex – all forming the top of a stacked billing.

New York City-based indie pop artist, producer & multi-instrumentalist Leah Nawy reflects on her inner child and who she’s becoming on the self-produced, swirling track “Quicksand” out now. Mixing synths with live instrumentation, Nawy’s delicate, self-assured vocals find peace in the past and hope in the future.
Entirely written, arranged, and self-produced by Nawy over the course of two years, “Quicksand” marks Nawy’s first full exploration of blending electronic production with live instrumentation. The track unfolds in constantly shifting sections, opening with a pulsing electronic bass and restrained verse before building into a dense indie-rock chorus with electric guitars, twinkling pads, and lush, forward vocal production. A rhythmically transformed second verse introduces triplet synth patterns before the song dissolves into a fully atmospheric, layered a cappella outro. The evolving structure mirrors the song’s slow realization and emotional resolve.

New York rocker Des Rocs (aka Danny Rocco) is back with “When The Love Is Gone,” a full-throttle rock anthem that channels the swagger of ’70s heavy rock through a modern, arena-sized lens. Built on hard-hitting drums, a driving bassline, gritty guitar riffs, and soaring solos, the track feels instantly familiar without slipping into nostalgia cosplay – lean, loud, and emotionally direct.
There’s a stadium-sized confidence to the song, but its power comes from intimacy. Des Rocs delivers the lyrics with a raw, commanding vocal performance, letting vulnerability cut through the distortion. It’s the sound of classic rock DNA pushed forward by lived-in emotion rather than retro sheen.
“This one’s a gut punch. It’s about losing something that was everything to you,” says Rocco. “The riffs are aggressive but it’s all tied up in these vulnerable moments. It’s funny, ‘cause sometimes rock music these days can feel so distant. Like it’s coming from up on some hill. But I’ve always felt that when you mix it with real pain and real stories it hits harder than any detuned riff or breakdown on the planet. That’s what I’m always chasing in a way.”

JuJu’s story is anything but ordinary. Born to an American G.I. from New Orleans and a German mother with Austrian roots, as a youth he was influenced by the cultural identities of two very different countries. Inspired by his father’s collection of Jazz and Soul records, JuJu began playing the trumpet at an early age, but found his musical feet in the underground rough and tumble of his local punk & hardcore scene. Music helped him to navigate his sense of belonging to disparate worlds. His quest to explore, define and report on these divergent realities., He has collaborated with Jesse Royal, Sampa The Great, Mick Jenkins, Ivan Ave & more, gaining support from the likes of COLORS, OkayPlayer, Clash, BBC 6 Music, NTS Radio, Rinse FM + more .
From the jump, a driving bassline is surrounded by wailing feedback and Dub FX, as a rigid and propulsive drumbeat (reminiscent of The Ruts’ seminal work) providing a captivating backdrop for JuJu and Siifu to let loose on, painting a picture of demolition and progress. On the track’s ethos, Juju explains: “The old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born: now is the time of monsters” is a famous quote by Italian Marxist Antonio Gramsci, written in his Prison Notebooks around 1930. It describes a chaotic transitional period where old political, social, or economic systems collapse before new ones are fully established. ‘ Build and Destroy also is the 8th principle of supreme Mathematics, signifying the power to construct, improve, or add on to positive, productive things (Build) while simultaneously dismantling, removing, or subtracting negativity, ignorance, or non-productive elements (Destroy). It´s a practical, actionable philosophy focused on developing oneself, the community, and the world. PEACE to the Gods!”. This release signals a most welcome return to the stage, from a truly original voice – with more to come for 2026.
