Euphoria Season 3: New Updates and New Footage Released Ahead Of Trailer

Exciting news for fans of Euphoria! Fresh details about Season 3 have emerged just ahead of the show’s highly anticipated return, including confirmation of an upcoming trailer. Recent footage hints at the next chapter in the series as it approaches its premiere date.

The latest teaser confirms that a new trailer will be released soon. The show’s official social media posted, “F**k. New trailer tomorrow. #Euphoria,” signaling that fans won’t have to wait much longer. The series is set to premiere on April 12, 2026, marking its first season since 2022. Season 3 will consist of eight episodes, continuing the weekly release pattern established in previous seasons. HBO’s head of programming, Casey Bloys, officially announced the spring 2026 release window, with the premiere scheduled for 9 p.m. ET.
A notable aspect of Season 3 is the reported five-year time jump, which will transition the characters from high school into early adulthood, adding new depth and complexity to their stories.

The first trailer, released in January 2026, offered a glimpse into this new phase. It features Rue reflecting, “A few years after high school, I don’t know if life was exactly what I wished,” and Laurie confronting Rue with the line, “Hello, Rue, you owe me money.” The footage hints at ongoing themes of addiction, complicated relationships, and personal growth for the returning characters.

The main cast includes Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, and Jacob Elordi. Sadly, Eric Dane, who completed filming before his passing in February 2026, will also appear. Notably, Barbie Ferreira and Storm Reid will not be returning for this season. Ferreira expressed her bittersweet goodbye, saying, “After four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character Kat, I’m having to say a very teary-eyed goodbye.”

Filming for Season 3 began in early 2025 after delays caused by script revisions and industry strikes. Jacob Elordi shared with Variety, “I don’t really know what anyone else is doing. It’s all quite separate,” indicating some level of confidentiality and individual schedules among the cast.

As fans eagerly await the new season, the upcoming trailer promises to shed more light on what’s to come in Euphoria’s latest chapter.
