THE HIT LISTFEATURED

The Hit List: Charlie Puth, LANY, Malugi & Sam Harper, Noah Cyrus, Sienna Spiro, Melanie C…

Charlie Puth – “Home (feat. Hikaru Utada)”: Charlie Puth has unexpectedly released a new song titled “Home,” featuring Japanese-American artist Hikaru Utada. The track explores the true meaning of what a home is. Puth shared that the song was written for and inspired by his wife, Brooke Puth, who is expecting their first child. “Home” will also be included in his upcoming album, Whatever’s Clever!, which already features upbeat tracks like “Beat Yourself Up” and “Changes.”

From the tone of his previously released singles, it’s clear that Puth is in a joyful, carefree phase of his life—a place filled with sunshine and frequent laughter rather than rare moments of happiness. It’s great to see him find a “home” that brings him such joy.

LANY – “I’m Doing Alright”: Take from their new album “Soft 2”, it appears as track number 11 of the album. It’s produced by Tommy King.

Malugi and Sam harper – “I Feel The Love”: This is the new single, “I Feel the Love,” featuring talented artist Sam Harper. The track, which has become a highlight in their live sets, will be officially released next Friday. The artist expressed excitement and gratitude, sharing that the song has been a significant project and that many fans have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. With a positive vibe and heartfelt collaboration, this single promises to be a special addition to their music catalog.

Noah Cyrus – “Light Over the Hill”: Noah Cyrus has made her return with her first release of the year, “Light Over the Hill.” Co-written by Cyrus, Justin Franks, and PJ Harding, the song features in the ending credits of the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2022 novel, Reminders of Him. Showcasing her signature guitar-driven country folk sound, Cyrus’s new track has resonated strongly with fans.
Inspired by the movie’s themes of redemption, Cyrus aimed to craft a song that reflects the journey of shedding past burdens to find inner light. She explained that the song isn’t about redemption earned from others or a higher power, but rather the personal growth that comes from within.

Sienna Spiro – “The Visitor”: Spiro has released her first original song of 2026, marking her return to new music since her breakout hit “Die On This Hill” in 2025. That track reached No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and climbed to No. 9 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart.

Signed to Capitol, Spiro was also nominated for the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award alongside Rose Gray, with eventual winner Jacob Alon.
On her Instagram, Spiro opened up about the song’s lengthy writing journey. She expressed how difficult it was to find the right words to convey what the song means to her. “It took me 9 attempts to articulate this feeling I’ve felt my whole life,” she shared. She recounted a pivotal moment when a friend mentioned an art exhibition called The Visitor—a word she’d heard before but that resonated deeply in that moment.

Melanie C – “Undefeated Champion”: Melanie C has released a new song celebrating the strength of the resilient spirit, titled “Undefeated Champion.” The track arrives shortly after her tour announcement and previews her ninth studio album as a solo artist. Featuring as one of 13 tracks on the upcoming album Sweat, which is set for release on May 1, the song is a powerful dancefloor anthem that showcases Melanie C’s enduring energy and resilience.
