Prime Video has unveiled a new teaser for The Boys Season 5, providing a sneak peek at the escalating conflict between Butcher and Homelander. Showrunner Eric Kripke has also shared insights into what fans can expect from both characters in this final chapter. The streaming platform released a “One Week” mini-teaser ahead of the season’s two-episode debut.
The teaser features fresh footage, including Homelander awakening his biological father, Soldier Boy, and enlisting his help to locate Billy Butcher. It also shows Soldier Boy unleashing his power on Butcher’s tentacles. In this concluding season, Homelander has taken control of the world, driven by his erratic and egomaniacal impulses. Meanwhile, Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp,” as Annie struggles to rally a resistance against the overwhelming force of the Supes. Meanwhile, Butcher reemerges with a plan to deploy a virus capable of eradicating all Supes.
