Paramount+ has greenlit a new unscripted series titled Team Moms, produced by Kim Kardashian and the team behind popular reality TV hits. The show offers an inside look at the competitive world of youth baseball, centering on the legendary Prep Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Team Moms will delve into the lives of the families, players, and the baseball programs themselves as they navigate the evolving landscape of NIL deals, college recruitment, and the pathway to Major League Baseball. The series aims to showcase the intense dedication of coaches, program founders, and the families who will do anything to help their teens succeed in America’s favorite pastime.
According to the official description, the show follows the coaches, founders, and a dynamic group of families and their teenage sons involved in one of the most competitive youth baseball programs worldwide. This program serves as a stepping stone to Division 1 college scholarships, lucrative NIL deals, and ultimately, careers in the MLB.
The description emphasizes the high stakes and fervor behind the scenes: “Willing to do whatever it takes for their children to excel at America’s favorite pastime, the intensity of the program is only paralleled by the fervor of its athletes’ parents, who will stop at nothing to ensure their kids make it to the big leagues.”
Team Moms is produced by ITV America (known for Love Island USA), Kim Kardashian Productions, and Paramount Sports Entertainment. The series boasts a team of executive producers, including Mioshi Hill, Jordana Hochman, Jeremiah Smith, Tom Ciaccio, Kardashian herself, and Natalie Ento.
