The first glimpse of Alan Ritchson’s upcoming major action film has been unveiled. The teaser for Runner made its debut at CinemaCon 2026, confirming that it stars Ritchson alongside Owen Wilson in a tense story about a medical delivery gone dangerously wrong.
The teaser introduces Hank Malone, played by Ritchson, a former soldier who takes on what seems to be a simple mission. Owen Wilson’s character, Ben, hands over a cooler containing a liver intended for a sick child. “There’s a little girl who’s very ill, and you’re delivering her new liver,” Ben explains. The urgency is immediately clear: if the organ isn’t delivered on time, the girl won’t survive.
Suddenly, masked gunmen surround their vehicle. Hank inquires about the black market value of organs, with Bishop estimating it at up to a million dollars. Recognizing its high demand, Hank floors the accelerator. What follows is a high-octane montage of fistfights, vehicular chaos, and explosions as Ritchson’s character fights through every obstacle between him and the hospital.
The teaser ends with Hank holding the organ case inside a medical facility, making one last desperate effort to complete the delivery. His voiceover reassures someone on the other end of the line, “There’s nothing in the world that’s going to keep us from getting to you.”
