On the mic and on fire, three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning hip-hop legend, actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Ludacris serves up an energetic new summer single titled “Pull Over” produced by DJ Toomp [Jay-Z, Nas, T.I. etc.] out now via DTP Records/Def Jam Recordings.

A marching band-style snare drum sets the DJ Toomp produced track in motion punctuated by rambunctious and rowdy horns. Of course, he drops the kind of metaphors only he can, “I’mma bet the house on ya I’m trying to risk it all I’m trying to break the springs in summer winter fall.”
In advance of the song’s release, he had HBCUs nationwide buzzing. Marching bands took over school football stadiums with the drumlines and horns making the track Friday Night Lights-ready! Baller Alert documented the phenomenon as did The Neighborhood Talk along with many more. Check out the viral videos now!
In case you missed it, he debuted “Pull Over” during his showstopping performance and hosting at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, cranking up anticipation for its release—and delivering now!
In 2025, he commemorated the 25th anniversary of his breakout second full-length album, Back For The First Time, with a brand-new limited-edition Vinyl version out now. It has incited widespread retrospective acclaim. Looking back, VIBE recalled, “The album was the launchpad for what has been a legendary career, as Ludacris went on to release several more studio albums and is now widely regarded as one of the most popular and acclaimed artists the south has ever produced.”
Reigniting southern hip-hop, Ludacris vaulted to the forefront of the culture when he originally dropped Back For The First Time on October 17, 2000—exactly 25 years ago. Upon arrival, the album bowed at #4 on the Billboard 200 and captured #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. It eventually earned a 3x-Platinum certification from the RIAA. Among a myriad of heaters, it boasted the 2x-Platinum-certified classic “What’s Your Fantasy” [feat. Shawnna], which reached #21 on the Billboard Hot 100 and graced the soundtrack of the cult classic comedy How High. Plus, it spawned the seminal “Southern Hospitality” [feat. Pharrell]. Thus far, the record has amassed hundreds of millions of streams.
Now it’s time to “PULL OVER!”

rising pop force Kylie Cantrall returns with her highly anticipated new single, ‘Carrie Bradshaw’ produced by Tricky Stewart (Rihanna, Tyla)and written alongside Tayla Parx (Ariana Grande). Blending sharp lyricism with perfect pop production, the track captures the essence of unapologetic self-expression and independence, drawing inspiration from one of pop culture’s most iconic characters.
“I knew I was searching for a sound I just couldn’t find in LA, so I flew to Atlanta to lock in with my dream producer Tricky Stewart. I told Tricky, “I want to write a song called Carrie Bradshaw,” and I remember my co-writer Tayla Parx saying, “this ain’t an easy concept but if you can pull this off, it’s going to be epic.” I never felt connected to a character more than Carrie Bradshaw, and this last year has been full of emotional rollercoasters, but this song gave me the chance to pour all those feelings out.” – Kylie Cantrall
The release marks a new chapter for Kylie Cantrall, continuing her evolution as both an artist and cultural voice for a new generation. Ahadadream releases new single ‘Put That Banger On Next’ featuring MC legend Capo Lee, released via Dialled In & Island Records.
Stream the track here / watch here.
On his second single ‘Put That Banger On Next’, Ahadadream delivers a high-voltage club ready take on UK funky, laced with a raw, grimey edge. Joined by Capo Lee, the track highlights Ahad’s longstanding love for UK music and blending this with his multiple other global influences.
Ahadadream explains, “Moving over from Pakistan when I was younger and hearing UK music at underage raves in Stevenage for the first time blew my mind. Grime classics like Pow, jungle anthems like Original Nuttah and later UK funky like Seasons by Lil Silva really changed my life. Grime was always the most formative club music for me when I first started going out in London to nights like Butterz at Cable. When I became more active in the scene as a promoter, DJ + radio host, I crossed paths with Capo a lot through radio and have always loved his flow, it was only a matter of time before we linked up on a tune.”
Pakistan-born, London-based artist Ahadadream is one of the most iconic and groundbreaking artists on the UK scene in recent years, with exceptional DJ skills, unmistakable production, and is driving forward South Asian culture in the UK at a time when creative representation and celebration of culture are so important.
From linking with Raf-Saperra on recent releases to now joining forces with Capo Lee, Ahad continues to bridge distinct corners of club music, bringing together artists from different worlds to create something truly unique.
This momentum builds from the breakout success of ‘TAKA’, his collaboration with Skrillex and Priya Ragu. The track first went viral during Ahad’s debut Boiler Room, when Skrillex appeared on screen to debut the record live. Support quickly followed from Peggy Gou, Fred again.., Four Tet, Dixon and Chris Lake, while BBC Radio 1 named ‘TAKA’ Hottest Record, Essential New Tune, and Track ID, a rare triple crown not seen since Calvin Harris’ ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ in 2015.
More recently, Ahadadream’s ‘Bass Dhol’ reached #1 on the UK Official Charts Company British Asian Chart, further cementing his growing impact and cross-cultural reach. Ahad’s catalogue has amassed millions of streams globally, positioning him at the forefront of an exciting new wave of club music.

rising artist Dermot Henry announces his debut EP Aiming Torches At The Sun, out May 15th on his new label home of Adventure Recordings / Island Records UK. The first taste of the project comes in the form of the single, ‘My Favourite Book Is One I’ve Read A Bunch’, which is also accompanied by another new song ‘Little Rib’ – watch the visualiser here.
With a community-minded ethos reminiscent of the 1960s Laurel Canyon scene and songs that feel both timeless and present-day, Dermot Henry is a vital new voice. Summoning heroes like Adrianne Lenker and Elliott Smith, his rustic, alt-folk sound combines that world-wise outlook with a modern approach that is already building the 23-year-old a cult following.
Mixing the comfort with the new, ‘My Favourite Book Is One I’ve Read A Bunch’, says Dermot, was written “whilst apart from everyone I love. I spent a lot of time away from home last year. This is one of the only true love songs I have written, although it is more like a song of reassurance; love, when not able to manifest itself in physical attraction or time spent together, must be trusted to be lying still with intention.” B-Side ‘Little Rib’, meanwhile, is more contemplative, as Dermot embraces the existential: “the fact we are on a rock in nothingness and our molecules are able to connect with other people’s molecules is absurd. Sometimes the only way to approach this is through absurdity.”
Dermot Henry was born in Wiltshire, raised on a diet of his parents’ records that ranged from The Beatles and Tom Waits to Nina Simone. Musically he cut his teeth during a year abroad living in Paris for his degree, where he would busk on the city streets. In one particularly cinematic scene, he walked into a bar to see a stranger playing the classic ‘Freight Train’ by Elizabeth Cotten – as they forgot the words, Dermot Henry jumped up on stage to sing and found his new busking partner. This same spirit of spontaneity, openness – life’s surprises, and its imperfections – are to be found on the upcoming EP, Aiming Torches At The Sun. Recorded in Frome with Dom Monks (Big Thief, Michael Kiwanuka, Laura Marling), the result is a body of work that feels instinctive, intimate, and lived in – like a favourite pair of jeans, or that ‘Favourite Book’.
Steadily building a reputation as a compelling live performer, Dermot Henry has a packed run of shows ahead, including a major support slot for Jacob Alon at London’s iconic Roundhouse this Saturday April 18th, before his debut headline show at Folklore in Hoxton on 20th April, which sold out in 40 minutes. With dates across Ireland, The Great Escape, Green Man Festival, Latitude and Boardmasters, watch out for more Dermot Henry to follow soon.
