Deadline has released the first look images of Thomasin McKenzie as Audrey Hepburn and Ansel Elgort as Hubert de Givenchy in the upcoming film Dinner With Audrey.
In addition to these images, it has been announced that two-time Oscar nominee Miranda Richardson and Judy Greer have joined the cast alongside McKenzie, Elgort, and two-time Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon. Richardson will portray Hepburn’s mother, Ella Van Heemstra, while Greer is cast as legendary costume designer Edith Head. The film is directed by Abe Sylvia (Palm Royale, The Eyes of Tammy Faye), with a screenplay and executive production by Kara Holden (Clouds).
Set in 1953 Paris, the story follows 24-year-old Audrey Hepburn (McKenzie), an emerging actress on the verge of international fame, grappling with hidden insecurities. Sent by director Billy Wilder to find an authentic wardrobe for her upcoming film Sabrina, she visits the fashion house of a young, exhausted Hubert de Givenchy (Elgort). Despite initial reluctance, Audrey’s persistence and charm forge a connection rooted in their shared artistic vision. Over a night filled with risk and creativity, Audrey and Hubert help each other, laying the foundation for a legendary forty-year partnership.
