Charli XCX released a new track just hours after her friend, the Dare, debuted it during his opening set for PinkPantheress in Brooklyn. The song features collaborations with A.G. Cooke and Finn Keane (formerly known as EasyFun).
This new song comes shortly after Charli posted a clip of herself recording “Rock Music” at Paris’ Rue Boyer Studios in October 2025. In the caption, she cheekily noted, “a video of me making a song called ‘rock music’ that is not actually rock music which is funny because I never said I was making a rock album.” She was referencing her recent British Vogue cover story, where the magazine described her upcoming project—a follow-up to her massive album Brat—as a “rock reinvention.”
