A fresh trailer for the upcoming comedy film 72 Hours has just been released, teasing the hilarious chaos set to unfold. The movie is slated for release on Netflix this summer and promises plenty of laughs.
Directed by Tim Story, known for his work on films like Fantastic Four (2005) and Ride Along, 72 Hours stars Kevin Hart, Mason Gooding, Marcello Hernández, and a talented ensemble cast. The trailer reveals Hart’s character inadvertently gets invited to a wild, three-day bachelor party. In a bid to salvage his faltering career, he accepts the invitation—only for chaos to break loose. The film’s official synopsis reads: “A forty-year-old executive hopes to save his flailing career by joining a group of twenty-somethings on a wild three-day bachelor party, after he’s inadvertently added to their group text.”
Alongside Hart, the cast includes Mason Gooding, Marcello Hernández, Kam Patterson, Ben Marshall, Kevin Dunn, Zach Cherry, Teyana Taylor, and Andy Garcia. The screenplay is penned by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, Kevin Burrows, and Matt Mider. The film is produced by Hart, Story, Hurwitz, and Schlossberg, with executive producers Ross Fanger, Vicky Mara Story, Kayla Stamps, John Fox, Jeremy Stein, Dina Hillier, Bill Block, and Prescott Ashe.
Tim Story’s extensive filmography features hits like Barbershop (2002), Think Like a Man, and recent titles such as The Blackening (2022) and Dashing Through the Snow (2023). His latest project prior to 72 Hours was The Pickup, starring Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson, released on Prime Video in August 2025.
