Ariana Grande has dropped the lead single from her upcoming eighth studio album.
Titled “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” this reflective pop ballad offers a first glimpse of her new project, “Petal,” scheduled for release on July 31. The album follows her 2024 release, “Eternal Sunshine.”

The song was co-written and produced with longtime collaborator Ilya and renowned producer Max Martin. Its release comes just ahead of Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine Tour,” which will take her across North America from June 6 to August 6. The tour will then continue with a 10-night residency at London’s O2 Arena from August 15 to September 1. Tickets are currently available.

This tour marks Grande’s first major concert series in seven years and coincides with her recent forays into film, including starring roles in “Wicked” and the upcoming “Focker-In-Law,” the latest installment in the “Meet The Parents” franchise. She and her “Wicked” co-star Jonathan Bailey are also set to appear in a revival of “Sunday In The Park With George” in London next summer. More details can be found here.

Earlier this month, Grande celebrated the 10th anniversary of her album “Dangerous Woman” by releasing a special edition, which includes a previously unreleased outtake titled “Knew Better Part Two.”
